Erotic RolePlay skill stems from mixing brevity with insane amounts of descriptions. Not using BIG BRAIN words and lots of synonyms, but telling a story with colorful language and imagery.
Consider the two sentences:
1) *Takes off my pants and gets on top of you my dick getting hard*
2) *The air was pungent with our aromas as I mounted the bed, sliding my body onto your soft flesh before taking my erect cock and plunging into your dripping pussy, gripping your hips like handles and pounding you relentlessly, our sounds of erotic tension filling the air, feeling you struggle beneath me*
Both of these are autistic AS FUCK. 1) is bad because its clear the author had their dick in one hand, and 2) is bad because of how rapey and indulgent it sounds. HOWEVER, 1) is brief, and 2) gives the partner something to bounce off.
If you want to ERP well, understand that you're telling a god-damn story, and even the worst smut (i.e. 50 Shades of Grey) uses padding and filler as a means to give sex scenes more "Oomph!" when they finally get there.
If you have a kink - any kink - whether it be BDSM or scat, abuse the hell out of it for padding. Describe everything, write it all out in graphic detail, without spending too much time on one thing.
