Personally and anecdotally, yes, going vegan cleared up my acne completely and permanently, so I believe others' anecdotes. But yours might not be a diet thing at all.
With acne, you just throw shit at the wall and see what sticks beyond a certain point.

I stopped getting acne after becoming vegan, but I don't know whether diet alone was the primary cause - I became vegan around 20, right after puberty ended for me, so who knows, maybe it's just due to less teenage boy hormones running through my veins
I highly reccomend you get dr bronners castile soap, it really helps
just drink water and exfoliate once a day. I eat nothing but meat and pasta and my skin is clear
I have a much clearer face after going vegan.
It's probably the dairy.
You should go vegan regardless though, it's a sign of superior intellect.

going vegan really helped clear up my skin. dairy is usually the issue, so if you don't go vegan, i'd recommend at least ditching dairy.
May wife was a vegetarian (almost vegan, barely had any dairy, no eggs) for over six years. Struggled with bad dandruff, felt bloated, random pains, bouts of dizziness. She tried different supplements, stopped eating bread, did yoga, saw doctors. Finally one day she figured that the last thing she could try was eating meat. So she did and she feels better than ever now. I fucking kid you not, hamburgers literally solved all her problems.
Everyone has different dietary needs. The main thing is just to pay attention to your body and have a diverse and balanced diet. It will have an effect on various things like acne.
It is tho. I give it about 2 more years until most vegans realize they feel like shit and change their diet. All those meat substitutes are over processed and terrible for you.
It's good to exercise will-power.
Most people can't cook so they buy boxed crap from the store.

Yeah you can survive without just fine, but most people will not feel good because:

I mean, just admit that veganism has nothing to do with promoting health and is instead a philosophical/political ideology. I'd have much more respect for them if vegans were honest about that and didn't hide behind junk science to support their worldview.
Not for everyone. I never struggled with acne, but about 3 years into going vegan I started to break out a lot. I had to use nonvegan products to help my acne because they're the only ones that worked on me, too.
Well acne wasn't her problem. It was a variety of other issues and she had stopped eating dairy for several months at one point.
This. I feel a lot more energized since eating meat again but I'm not gonna lie it still fucking disgusts me and the taste isn't all that great. I miss vegan food but I felt like shit being a vegan. And yes I took B12 supplements but it did nothing.
I should add that I actually took the time to learn vedic cooking and other vegetarian/vegan cooking styles (it's a hobby of mine) so it's not like she was eating onions patties all the time.

I don't have to admit anything, any vegan who isn't eating meat for anything other than the philosophical reasons is doing it wrong. (in my personal opinion at least...) Animal welfare will always be the first and most important proponent of vegan ideology.
But you should also concede that veganism can be more than perfectly healthy, plenty of research agrees with this, research we both have read I am sure. Not only this, but there are many health concerns from eating meat you are conveniently ignoring here.
I also disagree that most people will not feel good, if someone switches to a vegan diet and isn't healthy, their personal diet is the issue in most cases, not veganism. I think most, 99.99% of people, could be healthy and happy on a well planned vegan diet.
Of course, well planned is the key term here. And you are right that vegan options are limited if you can't cook
Most vegans don't eat diverse diets...I've never heard anything like this, and I certainly do. I eat onions pretty often, I don't really think I've had issues with any fruit or vegetable desu
It always surprises me when someone who is vegan or vegetarian for some time just decides they are ok with eating meat again... it's good your wife is healthy I suppose. Health always comes first, for anyone.
But I think there are many confounding factors here that may come with abrupt diet changes, or maybe just lifestyle changes in general...who knows what exactly caused things like her dandruff or random pains, and I'm curious if there are any types of vegan diets that would work better for her
