I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you spent an awful lot of time trying to get better at the lifts rather than getting bigger and stronger.

That'll fuck you with high or low volume.

Anywhere it says "or" you do one exercise on the first day and the other on the second day. Example: If I'm running this M/T, Th/F I would be doing heavy bench 3x5 on Monday with 3x8 OHP, then Thursday would be the opposite. Same goes for legs, I don't usually squat Monday and DL heavy Tuesday.
