Also if you have the energy to read anything meaningful between sets you're probably not trying hard enough or you're resting too long.

Finally if I saw someone reading I'd refuse to believe their time is so occupied that they'd otherwise need to occupy the 15-20 minutes they'd spend recovering with a book

i read in between sets last semester because i had required readings due for a class right afterwards. as long as you're not trying too hard and bringing some thick ass anthology, it's not that autistic

when i have a test in a subject i dont care about I just study, read and try to remember my notes between sets, we are all autistic anyways, so maybe jsut embrace this, and use our time better?
