Is SL5x5 good for someone who took 5 years off lifting? I trained hard while I was in college but had to stop during my last job and want to get back into it again now that I can.
I think it would be good as a tool to ease yourself back into the gym.

That’s what I was concerned about. It feels like it might be a little slower paced than what I’m capable of, but afaik, that’s the point of the program and it’s somethig I haven’t ever tried so it might be what I need to push through plateaus- when I get back to them. I just liked the routine since the lifts are all my favorite ones
not worth paying for premium imo. free app works fine, and you can still look at accessories for each day and manually do them

SL5x5 is one of the best designed apps. People shit on the program (too much squatting) but you can customize the A/B workouts. It just becomes an issue when you want to do more than A/B days.
