Do fruits get more unhealthy if you make a smoothie out of them...

Do fruits get more unhealthy if you make a smoothie out of them? I mean juice is pretty much soda but what about smoothies? The fruits are still there having all the fiber, but it's broken into mush.

What's your opinion on this? I say it's the same as eating the fruit itself.

How to make a smoothie taste good without loading sugar?

>Do fruits get more unhealthy if you make a smoothie out of them

Not really, only possible downside is any sugar will be more rapidly metabolized and cause a bit more of an insulin spike than if it were an intact fruit.

>I mean juice is pretty much soda

Wrong

Honey, frozen banana makes all of mine taste great

some fruits can even be better absorbed in smoothie form

I just made a smoothie from one mango, handful of dates and then like a cup of buttermilk. Shit was sooo cash. Due to the dates, it tasted very very very sweet.

>Wrong

Yes it is. Sure it might have some antioxidants and vitamins but ingesting it does the same harm to your body as drinking sugar sodas. Look it up.

So it is actually better to make a smoothie out of them?

You have more trouble digesting things larger they are in your stomach. Liquids are much more easily digested than say eating beef.

What do you think your teeth do when eating?

i believe so, less digestion, liquid nutrients

he has no teeth, he is born to suck dick

just eat a bag of doritos then, you pathetic waste of human existence

What are you talking about? It depends on what is meant by "making smoothies."

When I make smoothies I take lean Green Yogurt (the kind with low sugar), half a frozen banana, strawberry, and that expensive ass peanut butter and blend it with kale and ice water.

When my friend makes smoothies, he takes fruit, blends it with milk, puts in vanilla and other weird stuff.

It's the same thing as putting anything else into your body. You just have to count your calories and be aware of what you're doing. Sugar from fruit is different from the sugar from a Hershey bard.

sodas have things like preservatives, colorants, flavourants and refined sugar you absolute pleeb

But the fiber ain't turning into liquid after you make smoothie, is it mah boi?

That's what I was trying to find out.

>fruits
>more unhealthy

blending fruits/veges is fine, the fibre is still in it. If you juice it then thats a problem because you are not getting the fibre

I am doing my MSc on food science and nutrition, I can tell you physical damage can change the lenght of dietary fiber molecules (just like cutting a rope into 2 or more pieces) but this doesn't effect their pro health effects. You will still get the fiber.

this

i like freezing the fruit in smoothie form in icetrays and then blend them again.

this is orange juice with frozen grapes.
