Happiness is directly and mostly related to IQ and EQ. Humans are creatures motivated by primitive and evolutionary goals the most important one being reproduction, thus you constantly search for meaningful relationships (friendships or romantic ones) in order to feel happiness. You cannot however form meaningful relationships with people who aren't on the same wavelength or in other words people who don't have a similar IQ and EQ as you. This is why more intelligent people are less happy because they cannot form meaningful relationships and thus feel alienated and alone. This is a major cause for depression as humans are social creatures and have a primary goal of reproduction in mind. Everything we do in life, be it try to succeed in education or improve yourself as a person (going to the gym for example) ultimately has this goal in mind. As your intelligence increases (decreases too, for that matter) you have a lower chance of finding people who are on the same wavelength as you, who you can meaningfully connect to.

Hey that actually makes a lot of sense
So the key to happiness is to find those who you can truly connect to and form meaningful relationships with them
It adds up
Yes and I wish humans weren't so motivated by reproduction so I could perhaps find happiness in a hobby or something, would make things a lot easier.
Have you tried making online friends? I've met a few people on my wavelength that way. Some more than others, but once you find that person who fits it's amazing and uplifting.
but intelligent people are more happy and this has been demonstrably shown. it turns out being intelligent means you can solve the problem of being unable to easily find relationships. (protip: you have to look in places that have an IQ filter, such as academia or pro-gaming.)
Go fuck yourself, you waste of flesh. The world would be better off without you.
lol do you need a friend there buddy? Maybe somebody as awful as you are, you can both spiral into self destruction together. Form a suicide pact even.
Just because you're high off your psuedointellectual farts doesn't mean your "ideas" have any validity to them. All of existence does not terminate in trying to find relationships with one another, or whatever your idealized fantasy of a relationship is.
By the way, there is no such thing as an IQ or EQ communication barrier in reality, nor do people have distinct wavelengths.
Luckily for me I have a couple good friends I talk with regularly that fit that meaningful relationship category, it's what's kept me sane throughout each college semester.
I do think intelligent people have other advantages in remaining happy. Because of our better pattern recognition, we're better at knowing what stuff makes us happy, so if we can replicate that in safe ways that can help keep us happy.
t. unfulfilled lonely faggot who don't need no frens
You are free to share your aguments. Wavelengths is not meant to be taken literally, it's an expression about connecting to people in a meaningful way. And I don't think you can argue with the fact that humans have evolutionary drives at the root of everything they do and that reproduction is the main one.
So much sophistry and so little meaning. Hey, if it strokes your psuedointellectual boner then be my guest, just know that you're really wasting time.
Feel free to share you arguments.
>By the way, there is no such thing as an IQ or EQ communication barrier in reality
Spoken like a true brainlet. Imagine yourself being surrounded by literal mental retards. Think you could treat them as equals? What kid of a relationship is based off innate superiority.
>By the way, there is no such thing as an IQ or EQ communication barrier in reality
So you talk to a person with down syndrome the exact same way as your teach or professor? A person with down syndrome obviously has a lower IQ than the average person, and communication changes because of that. Why wouldn't the same happen between above average intelligence people and those with an average IQ? Would you be happy if 99% of people around you had down syndrome and you could never have a meaninful conversation about anything with them?
My point is that ultimately, those intimate relationships are the only thing that truly make us happy long-term though.
here's your study, bro

dumbfags are more likely to be robots. they kill themselves at a higher %
I have one question though, why are suicide rate much higher in western countries than African countries then? African countries are among the happiest ones there are. Also, the highest IQ this study measured was between 120-129. I think when you go beyond that (130-180) my theory could still prove true.
Some african countries are really high up there though
Because niggers are incapable of introspection, obviously. Further, they do not take on responsibilities and do not think of the future. This is also why male suicide rate is higher than women's.

Did you ignore this? > it turns out being intelligent means you can solve the problem of being unable to easily find relationships. (protip: you have to look in places that have an IQ filter, such as academia or pro-gaming.)
Why do you think things like the "mega society" form? It's because smart people are aware that they are like a different species and seek out members of their own kind. What's hurting you more is your belief that you will never find friends, if anything. If you're truly as smart as you say, then you should have no problems breaking into these selective groups.
I never said I'll never find friends, I just searched an explanation but I also believe there's a relatively low chance I'll find any. I've tried breaking into these selective groups, for example I followed programming classes for a while and these people were stereotypical nerds, but they still came across as normies, constantly talking about the new Star Wars coming out and having vivid discussions about this type of stuff, but I was far from interested in that. I think people like me hide away in their houses like I do so the chances of us crossing paths are really low.
Programming is not enough of a filter. I'm assuming your range is in the 130's. If that's true, then you need to find more selective things. People can program from the 120's. Look for something that's at least one standard deviation within your range. I found all of my friends from competitive world of warcraft. I have virtually no friends that I've met incidentally IRL, but I've met all of my online friends IRL by now. We get along outstandingly, and we talk about substantive topics all the time, not normie tier capeshit pop culture.
