Iboga is better for depression and psilocybin is better for depression. LSD might be alright for depression too but I don't think there's as much evidence supporting that (and who really wants to be tripping for 12 hours anyways?)

Have you done any other psychedelics before? I'd recommend trying LSA, it's legal and cheap. Start with that, I'm not sure DMT is a good "first time" psychedelic.
