Vidya, in moderation, although it depends. Straight up reflex needs to be trained doing whatever it is you want a reflex for.
General thinking and reacting time can be improved by eating well, getting proper rest, working out.
Not really any specific ways to make it "better"

Play any sport bro. Basketball ideally or rugby

Oh and MMA or combat sport of any sort

You can't train reaction time, what you can train is how fast you make a decision

>train reaction time.
Doin the sport you are doing more.
Reaction time is correlated to balance and speed.
Train both.

Playing goalie in lacrosse for 9 years seemed to help me maybe try that

I got some increased reaction time by playing, random sports back in school, shit like football, tennis, badmitton that kind of stuff

I knew some stupid /v/ faggot would say this in regard to a general reaction question because that's all he ever does, except type and eat.

Goaltending training would help. For any sport I'd imagine. Hockey or soccer specific training I know work well, but it's training that takes a lot of time to take effect.

Fuck you nerd

Basically this, you need to specifically train what you want to improve on until it becomes an unconscious habit where you don't have to think about your response to the stimulus.

Also, sleep well eat healthy,
I played high level videogames, and when I got stressed out and my sleep went to shit my speed went so far down I was barely more than a noob.

will boxing help?

You can't really train reflex as such, that's moreso to do with your perception, energy levels, sleep deprivation etc. However, you can absolutely train muscle memory through repetitive practice at a sport/activity, thereby eliminating the thought process and allowing faster, rehearsed action.

Grip training improved mine by about a standard deviation. I had had poor bloodflow to the extremities as a result of years of high blood pressure, though, which has now been resolved. Your results may vary.

If you don't have a particular reason/activity for wanting a faster reaction time there's not much to say.

I know someone mentioned vidya and it seems like a meme, but I feel competitive vidya has helped me keep cool and react quickly to stressful situations while driving. But that could also be attributed to my general apathy and not giving a fuck.
