I can’t squat

I hip thrust 120kgs, diddly 120kgs too but can only squat 50 jag (below or at parallel). What can I do to improve? I feel like my joints and muscles work against me when I squat as if I’m simply just not built for it. Anyone else have the same experience? Pic related is my quads obviously not super strong but not dyel either

happens the same to me, the max I squat is 45kg per side at 12 reps and even that low weight hurts my hips, I think my body is just not designed to squat

Because it activates your glutes and can improve squat performance

But 45 kg per side is more than twice at what I can do

Do belt squats instead

Try putting 2.5 kg small plates under your heels or get squat shoes, fixed all my problems

im in the same boat OP. Can only diddly 120kg two (for two hundred reps) yet can only squat 120kg for 50 reps. Its a very weak squat I have, I'm only projecting a 320kg squat which is nothing compared to my 500kg deadlift for 12 but hey, i guess we just aint made for squats and deads

post video of you squatting, otherwise how are we supposed to give constructive criticism. If your squat is lacking that far behind it's either a lack of proper technique, mobility or both.
