Shoulder Dislocations

Has anyone here ever experience a shoulder dislocation and how long did it take you to heal it out?

>Be me, go swimming on sunday
>fuck around in the water
>do some movement throwing my hand back and forth again
>feel the shoulder joint popping out and in for a split second
It felt more like the anterior shoulder was seperated or grinded heavily with the lateral shoulder head
>no pain whatsoever
>no movement pain or restriction after

The following night and day I had some mild pain with internally rotating my shoulder and since then the shoulder feels a bit loose on the lateral delt and bone attachment, can move freely without pain except doing very radical movements
Went to the Physio yesterday, had an x-ray done with no visible deformities as in fracture or dents but getting an MRI will take 4 weeks

How my chances at? How fucked am I?

Use ice and rest. You dont need a doctor for this. Strengthen your shoulder with light exercise when the strain has healed, probably the same time as the mri.

Youre being paranoid.

Had shoulder dislocation that lead to more and more shoulder dislocations which resulted in needing surgery. Yours sounds different though. Needed to get mine put back in place at the hospital for the first one. Was the most pain I've ever experienced

a friend dislocated his shoulder in early march/feb, he's still not back to lifting. so a while

yeah i had something similiar. it was a cartilage which jumped out of the shoulder pan. how old are

>Yours sounds different though
Thank goodness, but I am still suspecting a half dislocation there

damn i sure the fuck hope i am just being paranoid

I am 20
was yours bad? how long did it take to heal, how long before you could work out at full capacity again? also any lasting problems?

If you need surgery you'll be a good 6 months out of anything except PT

when it jumped out of the pan, , my arm was so stiff i could not controll my arm for seconds. was this like your situation? and i had to put some muscles to keep the cartlage to keep in my shoulder pan

My joints or whatever pop out easily in fact sometimes I do it on purpose especially my shoulders and wrists

go see a doctor, mate

Mine happened in a split second, like instantly. It kind of popped out and in right in the same moment and I had no pain during it or after it, I also had no problems for the next few hours.

How long did it take you to heal and lift again?

Why should I?

i had to exercise in order to keep the cartlage in my shoulder pan. i could exercise the next day it wasnt a real problem only if i had my arm stretched out and some weird position. also sometime when i was swimming like you

>joints pop out easily in fact
it shouldnt and so go see a doctor

Thank goodness, I'm probably getting an MRI tomorrow and hope it's not a dislocation

Also, are you prone to dislocations or subluxations? and could you describe the exact way the shoulder jumped out of the pan?

I've been like this for years never had an issue lifting unless it was powerclean. I tried getting 225 and my wrist popped out mid way. I got it the second time easily kek

im ALSO I have the question if your shoulder felt loose afterwards?

its not a dislocation because then you would be in a really painfull situation.
no i had the last incident like a year ago because i began to train.
sometime it took really long to get it back in my shoulder. sometimes i had not feel any pain. but most for a second it felt like there was no connection between my shoulder and my arm. and my arm was pretty stiff because of it.

could you explain the specific way your shoulder jumped out of the pan, how did it feel?

you sometimes get the first one free, but my ortho told me once it's pain free you can start light band exercises to strengthen your shoulder. I had the same experience as but also my shoulders are naturally flexible and prone to dislocation so the side without surgery started to dislocate and I'm considering surgery on that side too. One of the causes is having your external rotation muscles and internal rotation muscles greatly imbalanced. My first dislocation was very similar to yours OP, I was surfing and it sublexed (partially came out then popped right back in) but then it kept happening.

it was a really long time ago.
sry

Unless you are a terminator, you didn't dislocate your shoulder, probably just strained something.. .

Dislocation is fucking painful(like throwing up painful)
