Did I fuck up my bulk?

No, gain another 8-10 lbs while you’re lifting heavy as fuck and then cut

why did you bulk in the first place ?

It looks all you did was gain fat.
Did you even do a single chest exercise?

>bulking as a natty

It seems like your biggest problem is that your chest remained stagnant. Did you take any measurements? Measurements are absolutely a necessity if you want to truly track your growth and know if you are properly bulking.

Additionally, information on how your maxes changed throughout your bulk would be helpful.

It might be the angle but it looks like you have some imbalances, other than that I think it was an okay bulk.

Initial weight I am scrawny at 6ft.

Yeah I seem to have trouble gaining anything with my chest. I train each muscle 2x a week and do more work on chest and even feel pump and doms with it. Still no gaining

Lmao are you crazy? I went from 135 @ like 5% or 6% bf to 235 @ 11% bf without any steroids. It took abt 4 years but I still did it natural.

Yeah my chest growth is pathetic. My arms went from 14.5in to 16in flexed. The issue is looking at these photos now it doesnt look like I put on much LBM. Even though I gained 25lbs.

>235 @ 11%
sounds really nice. post pic

I get an Isley vibe from this
you were already fat enough to gain muscle imo

Doms means you aren’t giving your muscle enough time to recover. Recovery is just as integral as work.

I would suggest going back to something like a 5 day split if it works with your schedule, and only training each muscle group once a week, but go more in depth each day.

If you want to boost your chest growth eat a banana before your workout for energy, and drink a shake immediately after whilst in your anabolic phase, then eat like a mf the day AFTER.

Also what are you doing on chest day?

>235 lbs 11% bodyfat natty
Bullshit. Post body with timestamp.

Also it was my first time lifting in a couple of years. My bench went up to 100kg for 4reps. But I'm 6ft so thats pretty weak.

>6% bf
You just escape from Auschwitz or Africa?

You’re shoulders look broader, which indicates a definite increase in muscle mass in your shoulders and traps, and suggests more muscle in your bi/tris. Ofc your going to look way less defined following a bulk.

Again, what seems like is lacking is your chest. Part of the problem could be a lack luster back workout which doesn’t support the pectorals, which is why so many bodybuilders group chest and back (not suggesting you do that). Still waiting on that max information and chest measurements user. Also insight into what you do on chest and back days would be appreciated, as Pointed out.

You put on the weight a bit too quickly. Bulking as a natty is a meme for the most part. Keep your bulks lean and aim for no more than 2 pounds a month to minimize the amount of time you have to cut.

I would love to but this was over 20 years ago. If you don’t believe me look at all the natural bodybuilders of today’s age it’s far from impossible.

I literally just followed Arnold’s Encyclopedia for the Modern Bodybuilder to a tee and I was able to gain all that weight.

Actually come to think of it I might have a really old picture of myself when I was in my prime, let me go look...

That’s actually really good, for your weight especially. Height doesn’t correlate as strongly as weight does don’t worry abt it, it just means your muscle will be more spread out and you have to work harder to get it to look big.

I was a swimmer before I got into bodybuilding :/

larper, go fuck yourself

t.

1. Looks like a good bulk. Of course you look fatter but you are also clearly bigger. As you get lean you will look even bigger due to bodybuilding illusions (shoulder waist ratio, definition, etc). Even if only 3kg of what you gained is muscle, that’s still a good amount for only 8 months. You’ll look bigger and leaner if you go back down to 80kg than you did at your start weight.

2. You have a very arm dominant physique, which is why bench didn’t build your pecs. Do flyes and DB bench next time

you should have cut. your before bulk picture should be the MAX BF%

you literally just got fatter . newfag here is bulking a meme ? i was considering starting since my arms are so goddamn skinny

bulking is absolutely retarded and a noob trap designed only for anorexics. If you ever go above 13% bodyfat as a natural you're doing it so wrong

I find you more attractive on the fat pic.

This. Looks thicc and fuckable. Wouldn't call it "fat" though

You turned into a spic in the second photo

Problem is a lot of people bulk on shitty foods which your body is just going to metabolize as food.

Clean eating is the key to bulking/cutting and actually looking good/lifting a lot.

>taking 8 months to bulk from 76kg to 88kg

Did you forget to workout?

>4x225 @ 195 is "really good"
>Height doesn’t correlate as strongly with weight
lol no
OP you need to be benching more.

>He thinks gaining almost 30 lbs in 8 months isn't a respectable bulk

Not when most of it is fat lmao

>larping this hard on an anonymous website
Bruh.. look at this dude. OH NO NO NOO

These are awful results for this amount of time. It looks like you have been eating at a larger caloric surplus than you have been working out to compensate for or you aren't training to failure and thus not building muscle at all. Judging by mentioning doms, I'd say that you aren't training hard enough.

It's time to cut for three months and try again.

So you went from being a child to being an adult without using steroids.... bravo, kind boomer sir.

Wtf dude, you're supposed to bulk when you're at 10-12% bf. You started as kind of fat around 18% and now you're just unhealthy amount of fat probably 22%

You used the gym as an excuse to get fat. Jesus fucking christ you're supposed to be bettering yourself in the gym.

You unironically didn't grow any muscle at all dude. I am not even trying to bring you down. I mean good on your for managing to take these shots under the completely same lighting and angle but that's just sad dude

Its hard to tell until you cut again down to the same weight.

You dont bulk to look good. You bulk to gain size and strength.

How much did your lifts change?

>12kg in 8 months
Yes, you bulked too quick obviously lmao. Even in a fresh lifter 6kg per year of muscle is good, what were u expecting? It looks like youve always lifted for some time as well. Maybe u gained 2-3kg of muscle but the rest was fat.

that's less than 1lb per week, so less than 500cal surplus. He didn't bulk too fast imo, maybe just didn't lift enough or ate too dirty

>tfw dont havd arnolds excyclopedia

hes a natty and he already has a reasonable amount of muscle mass, its too quick. Only works going that quick if youre a skeleton or on roids.

I legit envy your distribution of fat. You seem to gain fat evenly everywhere rather than staying skinny in the arms and chest while getting fat in the lower abs.

Attached: 1474428163851.png (671x644, 482K)

>Tfw this is me

Everytime I gain weights it instantly goes to my belly, I gain almost no bulk in upper body, I just get huge fucking gut.

Yes, indeed. And when you cut, you lose muscle and strength but still have fat in the lower abs.

The only way I get legit six packed ripped is if I get so skinny my face goes Auschwitz mode. The one time I cut that far, I didn't get any compliments about my physique but everyone asked me if I had stopped lifting.
