Am I the only one who can deadlift without the bar touching my shins?

I've never had even slight irritation like that. I feel like that's gotta be sloppy form. Goes up your legs not against them

is this normal? I'm getting concerned

It's prob too far out then. But there's no need for it to scrape your skin off either.

my bar is lile a fucking grater, they probably made it like that for a better grip or whatever
it's really fucking painful even if you barely touch your shins

Thats why i wear pants if im gonn deadlift.

Bump

>gym gets new barbells
>they're all supposed to be high quality because they're "way grippier" than the old ones
>the hand grip areas feel like 30 grit sand paper but instead of paper it's sharp metal
>try to deadlift in pants, pants are destroyed by end of first set
>try to deadlift in shorts, feels like someone is smearing shards of glass against my shins
FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Gonna switch deadlift for trap bar deadlift because my form is shit

Goodbye snap city

Bad form.

If you're new to lifting then, yes, you will have a sore lower back after deadlifts.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS.
fucking retards grating the skin off their shins because they don't know how to load their hamstrings and end up using all lower back.

i always feel pain right after doing DL, it lasts for like 5 minutes, dunno if i am doing it wrong.

halp

I get DOMS in the middle of the sole of my feet whats is this.

I deadlifted today and increased my 1RM by 1 pl8 just by going faster, I've been lifting wrong for months

I had this when I started out deadlifting. It went away after 6 months. Just make sure your form is good and don't egolift. You really have to get good at the exercise first.

Right after, and you always get it? You might want to record your form or have a pt or trusted friend watch you. Something doesn't sound right, user.

>you're doing it wrong even though you just said you don't do do the wrong thing
everybody is bad except you, right?

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Is that actually Ice?

Get knee warmers, which are comfy anyway so it's a win-win situation, pull them down for deadlifts. Put some tape on the front if the knurling is especially brutal to avoid breaking them.

You’re doing it wrong and believe me I know you are. I use to have bad lower back pain after doing dead lifts but it was because I had the form all wrong. Look up deadlift form Alan thrall. Ever since that video and practice with form it completely stopped the pain

yes
