is this achievable natty?
I actually have this body type. Minus 30lbs of lean muscle and 10% bf
No
probably not, maybe if you got swole as fuck, then keto'd your bf down to an inhumanly low level, then went out and ate a fuckin garbage can full of spaghetti you'd be able to achieve something similar for a day
imo the ideal physique user, I look to those proportions for aesthetic inspiration
Fucking incredible and I’d kill to have bodies like that but it’s just not possible.
I've never seen a real human with muscles on the sides of their torso like that statue.
I D E A L
>find an exercise you can do that will work your serratus muscles
>cut
If they created this sculpture based on a living human model and the statue is an accurate physical representation of the guy, please consider that during ancient times he could be nothing else but natural.
I hope that even the american members of this board are aware that steroids did not come about until the early 20th century, with the rise of modern science.
I give it at least a 50% chance because:
1. No pollution in ancient times.
2. Good, rich, natural diet.
3. Fully physical lifestyle for everyone, without cars, elevators, office work or tv.
4. Greek obssesion with male athleticism and martial ability, the glory in winning athletic events.
5. The actual gym culture of ancient Greece, maybe focused on more functional objectives than mere asthetics, but see points 1&2.
i have the perfect penis for this to be my end goal
you mean lats? obliques? serratus? all those muslces you see exist in theory - they are just a bit exagerated - which is the point of this whole board
how the fuck do I get a core like this?
Wrestle, box, and do pankration (mma). These were the big sports in ancient Greece.
do not forget to do it fully naked
no
The penor definitely is acheivable natty
You know it
is someone lwith overproduction of gh considered natty? What with myostatin underproduction?
His quads are a bit small, but everything else is pretty ideal for a natural lifter.
Godly
I agree that this is achievable without drugs, but no Greek man of that era looked this way. They likely didn't have any form of weight training. The best warriors were probably a lean 175 - 190 pounds. Also, it's definitely a sculpture of Hercules, so it is unlikely that it stayed very true to a real life model, if it even had one.
since these exist, is there also some condition that lets you naturally produce much more test than normal high-t people ever would?
>They likely didn't have any form of weight training.
educate yourself before writing about a topic
I disagree, Greeks spent all day wrestling, boxing, and doing pankration (mma). With wrestling there were no weight classes so they had to grapple against extremely heavy people for hours on end. That's not easy, especially when a guy can weigh twice as much as you, even something like a double leg takedown would be essentially squatting the opponent. Boxing is pure cardio, and bouts were said to have lasted days, if not more. Pankration mixed these two together. These activities also were accompanied by good diet and labor intensive jobs.
I apologize, I forgot to elaborate, I meant they didn't have the ability to do two very crucial lifts, the bench press and the squat. On top of that, the objects they did lift were probably misshapen, and would like to a pretty disproportionate build. Also, to be completely honest, I know very little of what they actually did for a workout, I am just doubtful that they had optimal equipment like barbells.
Dude there were entire schools funded by taxes dedicated to nutrition and weight training . you dont read much.
Which is exactly why they would be middleweights and below. Also, fighters do not have the physique of the OP's sculpture.
REEEEEEE Taxes
I fucked up by saying they didn't have weight training, I mean they were lacking at least two crucial strength movements, and they had no use of optimal equipment like barbells.
i actually knew that the whole time, just seeing if you knew
He did oblique work.
Man lift cattle every day. Cattle got bigger every day. Walk with cattle down road on neck. Every day.
> doubtful they had COMPLICATED things likr BARBELLS
>what are halteres
All it would have taken was 5 seconds on Google to not be a total brainlet. But even that was too much I guess.
I think it doesnt compare to this digits.
You have a point about the fact that the muscles are exaggerated but it most likely can't be that far off from the truth. Especially since just naturally the Greeks had more strenuous lives, which upped competition setting the bar to a higher standard than we have today. This in turn forced combatants to get stronger, faster, and more efficient with the mass they had on their body. On a side note alot of these fighters started at young ages which may have contributed to overall better physique
>I am just doubtful that they had optimal equipment like barbells.
Nigga, the greeks had steam engines, vending machines, napalm, astronomy that was unmatched for centuries and the ability to build giant monuments that would be difficult to make even with nowadays technology.
the atheninan greeks valued beauty greatly, also they were smart as fuck. Like seriously, read a bit about the things they accomplished, if left uninvaded they would have created modern technology at least 1000 years earlier. A lot of records were lost but i wouldnt be surprised if they understood how weight lifting worked and actively tried to change their bodies.
Homie read my earlier post lol i agree with you
You’re a moron and it’s even better that you try and belittle others. These statues are of the ideal not based on real life. Do you get any education in your country?
It wasn't the fact the barbells were complicated, I would just be surprised if they had come up with the idea. Tell me, did they have barbells?
Okay, so they had dumbbells. Did they have a form of bench press? Or a squat that exceeds 300 pounds?
I'm certain that most UFC fighters would wreck any greek warrior of a similar weight class. Look at their bodies, some are look pretty good, but none of them look close to the statue. And their difficult lifestyle only further cements that there would only be a handful of Greeks that weigh 200 pounds or more.
The Greeks literally created myths. You really fucking think that they boxed for more than 24 hours straight?
Also have you ever watched a single god damned mma title fight? The dudes never look like this. Even Yoel Romero only looks 1/2 of this.
I have them when I flex
Well, this is fucking hercules so its not he greatest example.
Heres a natty version
I think they got it right, some sculptures seem a bit exagerated but the proportions are good
People’s standards on here are so fucking low. If you expect to look like shit because “durrr hurrr I’m natty” of course you will. Fucking pathetic
>disagree, Greeks spent all day wrestling, boxing, and doing pankration (mma). With wrestling there were no weight classes so they had to grapple against extremely heavy people for hours on end. That is ONE of the things that they MAY or MAY NOT have done, it doesnt mean that none of them lifted weights, lol how idiot can you be. "Some greeks boxed so then no greek has ever done anything else than boxing"
And that is before even taking into consideration that everything we know about the greeks is copies of copies of copies of copies of texts, that were even lost to europe completely and had to be recopied from arabian master knowers. So what we know is like 1% data 1% archeology 98% speculation.
But there's a good tradition of westerners trying to say that the greeks were superior to all and justifying what they THINK theve done as superior. For example, everyone thought that since temples were white then white architecture is superior, now we know that their temples were actually more colorful than a gay parade but the paint faded over time.
no, that makes no sense. What you expect doesnt change. If you expect to look like shit, but train hard and eat well you will look great. Haha, what do you think faggotron that you can influence muslce growth with mind power of thought, haha typical left wing.
if you're expecting to look like shit there's no way you'll train hard and consistently, even if you tell think you're training hard
I heavily disagree, there were matches that lasted all day as opposed 5 rounds of 5 minutes at most in the UFC. The longest recorded boxing match was "Bowen v Jack Burke...The fight lasted 110 rounds over seven hours and 19 minutes." It's entirely possible fights could last for the a good chunk of the day. Sorry i didn't clarify i was meaning to refer to the volume of boxing they did. This would force the fighters to be in incredible shape. More so than some fighters today.
>”typical left wing”
Swing and a miss, bucko
>”do you really think you can influence your muscle growth with mind power of thought”
No, you fucking retard, but mindset does matter. Explains why you look the way you do
>if you're expecting to look like shit there's no way you'll train hard and consistently, even if you tell think you're training hard
nah, that is just left wing false poetry (opposed to right wing truth science)swiwinning in your brain.
If you objectively do the objective thing you have to do to objectively be better you will be better no matter what you think or what is written in some magic fairy tell book that fatther momy red you as a young idiot.
>Swing and a miss, bucko
you are colonized by their ideology, weather you like it or not
>This would force the fighters to be in incredible shape. More so than some fighters today.
You dont even know the basic fact that each city state had wildly difering cultures. Talking abot "the greeks" is like saying nowadays " the world" each city had wildly different customs, sometimes different languages even
Mike Cernovich, is that you?
Don't forget about all that glorious buttfucking each other while talking about science and brotherhood!
>napalm,
if youre refering to "greek fire" those were the bizantines, 1000 years after the greeks.
>weather you like it or not
i dont think the weather likes me, i dont like the weather
they probably did not, but cricket matches can last for days, playing for ~8 hours each day!
then this so it is possible they battled it out over 2-3 days with up to 10 hours fighting each day
> a fighter would be in great shape!
> but greece consisted of city states!
?
watch this, modern men are wimps
>so it is possible they battled it out over 2-3 days
I was simply referring to the various Greeks as Greeks for the sake of simplicity, instead of listing them individually. I'm not that much of a brainlet
the did wildy different excersises. athenians learned mathematics in groups and intercalated that with short sprints. Spartans threw their children in the woods, they would buttfck eachother but only for camaraderie, no homo and shave the girls to not be too distracting. Corintians would have one arm push up contests. That wildly different they were. Whent he persians invaded it they noted that it was like invading different continents at the whole time once.
OHP is uniroincally superior to bench press for upper body strength development.
Also
>what are weighted pistol squats
>A shoulders excersises is superior to a pec excersise
yes... in excersising the shoulders
>thinking OHP is a shoulders exercise
Post body.
