i wouldn't be able to put up with that shit for years on end
at most i cook a big pot of chilli (5 servings) or a load of small cottage pies and freeze/chill most of them
It’s 15 containers, 3 per day, I keep 6 in the fridge and 9 in the freezer. At the end of the day when I’ve gone through 3 from the fridge, I replace them with 3 from the freezer. Always tastes good, helps keep macros perfect, and makes clean bulking easy.
i'd kill myself if I ate like that
Man, I hope this dude has a plethora of hot sauces he changes up every meal, because that looks bland as fuck.
I want to meal prep, but I share a house with 4 other people, and there's not enough room in the freezer or fridge to do so. Even the big freezer we have in the garage is full.
In the middle of cooking right now. End up eating 1.5lb of chicken breast per day almost.
Sorry for messy kitchen
> robust extra virgin
>Plastic trays
We're seeing some estrogen levels we ain't never seen before, kid.
Only robust because bulking ;_;
Tell them to eat their shit because you need some space. Can't stand housemates who treat the freezer as permanent storage.
I kinda do this. Let's say I cook bolognaise sauce - I'll buy 2.5 kg ground beef (from the leanest meat, naturally), and do a whole pot - it's not like it takes significantly more time than just doing 500gramms. Once I'm done, I freeze half instantly, and eat the other half over the course of 2-3 days (sharing with my gf usually).
The other half is good for a month. It's awesome, because if I manage to do this 2-3 times a week, I have always a wide variety of delicious food on the ready. Obviously only works with certain type of foods, but it's something. Anyone who says they don't have the time to prepare meals for themselves is just looking for excuses. You can do all meals for the week in just a 3-hour sitting.
Btw, OP's taste is pretty plain, I sure as hell couldn't eat that shit 2 days in a row. So many things to do with chicken, and you do this shit. Jesus. Horrendous. Here are some recommendations, all with a chicken base:
>tomato sauce
>quickly fried and tempered with some beer (this is a favourite of mine)
>beer and mustard
>mustard and honey
>indian spices
>chinese sauces if you're into that
>sushi (yeah you can do sushi with chicken, deal with it)
>mixing up the dressings, obviously
etc, these were just off the top of my head, and just chicken breasts. You can also vary it around a lot by frying, cooking, stewing, boiling, etc.. My point is: you need some fucking variety, man. Just because you can prepare 1 meal doesn't mean you can cook.
I'm coming pretty damn close to doing this myself to save time, but I already have so much free time that cooking most days is not a big deal for me.
Chicken looks pretty well cooked, my man. I hope you brined it.
Im often too lethargic to cook and then I won't eat well. Which makes me even lethargic and amplifies itself.
I hope with meal prepping I can break that cycle.
The people that can't eat like that just don't understand your dedication. Keep it up, but listen to this dude if you want a more long term solution. There are plenty of spices and shit that will actually help you with your fat reduction as well as add variety to your chicken. I would also add a fat source in some form to balance yo shit.
Hummus, avocado, nuts, fish, etc.. Good luck with your goals mang!
As for myself, I meal prep per week but it changes every week and I only eat two meals + 1 big shake a day.
Breakfast is relatively the same: eggs + egg whites + spices + salsa and maybe throw in some mushrooms every now and then. I'm researching recipes and I might be doing a Vietnamese egg loaf soon. Side of oatmeal + honey + cinnamon.
Lunch is the shake. Base is baked sweet potato + protein powder + onions milk + yogurt + peanut butter + spinach, and then throw in anything else you want. I throw in cinnamon and cocoa. I'm thinking of getting some nutmeg, ginger, and some other shit to throw in there too.
Dinner is some carb (usually rice), some protein (chicken, ground beef, anything cheap), fibrous greens, and some fat. An example would be gook style tofu or mapo tofu for the good chink flavor (spicy as shit) on top of a ground beef patty served over rice with a side of veggies. If I'm going wh*tey I would do chicken breast with hummus + side of whole wheat/semolina bread. 711 Indian food also has some good pussy odor curries that you should try. Just watch the fat and sodium content.
It's a great thing to do because you:
1. Save time.
2. Eat healthy.
3. It's fun if you're adventurous with recipes.
4. Your cooking skills increase.
5. It's a good habit to build, and anyone who knows about building good habits is that they lead to more good habits.
There's more but I'm about to hit Costco for some shit.
made some chili the other day, I can't stand eating chicken breast day after day
I only mealprep breakfast burritos as there is good healthy dinners available for staff where I work. For supper I usually order something.
Getting bored of chicken breast and pork.
What are some other options I can make
how the heck do you grill this much chicken at once
>mfw I've been growing veggies since last year and get to put juicy goodness that I grew myself in my mealpreps
Should I go for meat sauce or curry? I want to make at least two big meals I can switch between to accompany the small dishes like rice and salads.
>egg whites
enjoy your biotin depletion
turkey
oven mayne
two racks
>rice cooker broke
>been just throwing shit together and grabbing those 6 pack applesauce (unsweet)
i'm lost without my rice cooker
That looks great. Mind sharing he recipe and macros if you know them?
I have a large indoor grill at the moment, like a George Forman, that lets me grill about 5 large chicken breasts at a time. Takes 12 mins per side. Can cook a huge amount in very short amount of time.
Going to invest in an outdoor grill soon though.
>2 pounds of sausage
>1 pound of ground chicken
>can of beans
>2 sauteed onions and bell peppers
2 cups of quinoa
>crushed tomatoes
>jar of salsa
>a stupid amount of spices (cajun, garlic powder, cayenne, chili powder)
>hot sauce
>salt+pepper
cook it all up and mix it together. makes a huge batch that last through the week. honestly pretty good. the salsa + tomatoes gives a nice base and you can add as much spices as you want.
i wouldnt have used sausages, but thats all i had
I said eggs + egg whites you fucking dickless goon.
You think I'd give up my precious fucking yolks motherfucker? You think you fucking know me????????
Whichever is best with an egg on top.
Rice cookers are like $30 that have multiple functions. Go buy one idiot.
Sounds good. I actually have a bunch of canned diced tomatoes that I don't know wtf to use for... looks like I'm making chili.
>eating out of plastic containers
not gonna make it
>being a vagina
>tfw I enjoy the taste of chicken rice and spinach
chili is pretty dope.
How many calories each?

The only change I made was adding celery while browning the beef
Yokel spotted
Oh man that looks so good but everytime I eat chili I get horrendous gas. Other bean-y dishes dont do anything for me, but something about chili gives me great wind in my behind
I would do what other anons said and just make chili for a week if it werent for the gas. I fucking love chili
I wanna become this organized. I was making burgers and freezing them for later, but it was annoying to do and the yield wasn't that worth the effort with my skill being low the result being not that tasty.
Rice is not popular in murrica, right?
