Do starting strength or reddit ppl, lift for a year or two. You will drop weight very slowly but you will never gain it back as long as you take enough protein.

I'm 6'0 and 160lb. I consider myself relatively skinny and I would guess my bodyfat is between 15 and 20% as I can see the full sixpack on my belly and some veins on my arms and neck. 140 would be too low imo. However my legs are big in comparison to my upper body so take that for what you will.

No, left photo was when I was at my fattest, was like 260, 270. Right I'm 195ish. Was 215 at may 11 according to myfitness app.
As for what I did
I ate at a massive calorie deficit, like 1k easy. I'm 6'3, and work a very physical warehouse job that's basically 4 hours of cardio. And I only ate like 1500 calories a day, some days when I didn't work, 1k. People told me on here that was bad, but it worked.

Your skin is under constant pressure and is in a constant expanding state. The faster you take the pressure off the less damage will have been done to the skin.

cardio has NO EFFECT on weight loss. you might be a bit healthier. but if you just need to lose weight just fucking eat less. that's literally it.
Don't lose weight, lose fat, gain weight by getting muscles which help you lose fat more efficiently. Don't starve yourself, just eat healthier and choose a diet you will actually stick to. If you actually like the diet, you won't even care about junk food anymore.
