I feel like a lot of young people on Jow Forums just try to fit in even at the detriment to themselves or some aspect of their identity... I don't like it desu. Like, you don't have to be super proud of being an Indian by any means, I think that's pretty autistic as well, but it's still a permanent aspect of your identity, it will always be a part of who you are, how can you come to hate that? Calling yourself a Pajeet may not be self hating exactly but it's still derogatory, it's as retarded as a black guy calling himself a nigger ironically. I think a canadian calling himself a leaf is different, I mean that's a national symbol of canada.

As with any type of relationship, it's important to remember the person, you know, as cliche as it might seem every Indian girl is different.

Anyways, do Indian women like white guys? Well, I don't think your race even matters here - Indians make up about 1% of the US population - so if an Indian woman were to date *entirely* indiscriminately, there's a 99% chance she would date a non-Indian, you know? It's not about liking white guys in particular, although some surely do.

That being said, from a demographics standpoint Indian women have among the lowest rates of outmarriage of any immigrant group, I think currently somewhere around 8% of Indian women will marry a man who isn't Indian in the US.

As an Indian, my grandparents (from the arranged marriage generation) only think of me marrying an indian, my parents don't really have an opinion one way or the other, and most Indians my age either REALLY identify as Indian or anti-Indian / american.

Assuming you live in a place with a lot of Indians, it probably wouldn't be that hard to get an Indian gf, but I don't really think it would be easier than getting a gf in general... you still have to be a normie.

Not Indian but I lived in India for two and a half years. Both of my long-term relationships were with brown girls--one who grew up in New Delhi, the other brought up in the States.

To be quite honest, I don't think race makes much of a difference with Indian women, unless you're black. Africans tend to face more discrimination than any other ethnic group in South Asia. Even liberal girls tend to be judgmental toward blacks. My ex-girlfriend used to joke that she should bring home a platonic African-American guy-friend before me--in her mind, she figured mom and dad would hail me as a savior.

The implication is that they aren't exuberant about their children dating Caucasians--and that's quite accurate. Most affluent Indians will tolerate a fair-skinned partner, but almost all of them prefer that their kids marry within their community. That can mean "Indian," but it often more specifically refers to caste, intra-Indian ethnicity, and religion.

In terms of regular dating and casual sex: it's easier for a white man in India than an Indian man in India. You're exotic, like a black man in Japan--the brunt of girls won't be interested, but the ones who are interested make their intentions clear.

Having said that, white skin doesn't present a significant advantage, even in India itself. A 5/10 man will not get to date 7/10 girls, in large part because the only Indians who can date without repercussion are affluent members of the middle- and upper-middle class. They don't need a green card, big bank account, or the hassle of maintaining a relationship they aren't supposed to have with a man they aren't genuinely interested in.

In the United States, I'd wager it's substantially harder to DATE an Indian chick than other races--at least beyond college. Anything serious is probably going to be contingent upon you having a good job and university education. Indian parents will absolutely not approve of their children dating someone 'lesser.'
