The IP changes every time I open the port after closing it. I would have left it running if people were on but it was sitting abandoned so that seemed risky for a number of reasons

I used to play minecraft frequently. I hosted a server for a certain period of time, and I'm familiar with plugins and the ins/outs of minecraft and running a server. I can establish an IP with letter (not a long numeric IP) and run whatever you need off site.
