Hey, any vetfags around? I could use some tips

Hey, any vetfags around? I could use some tips.
Earlier today a bird tried to land on the cables of a street light and It was electrocuted and fell 5-6 meters to the asphalt. It survived, so I guess it was just a static shock, but still, damn resilient bird.
Anyhow, now I took it in to make sure it's not hurt before I release it again to the wild.
What should I do? How to know if there's any broken bones? How can I help it?
Thanks in advance
Pic related, said bird.

Why not just torture it and then make a video about it

revitalize it with your semen

I would rather have it flying again so it can poo at people.

Google your local animal shelter or a wildlife rescue and go there. it's the birbs best chance of surviving.

give it water, give it food, give it a comfy box and then he'll go when hes all better.

Alright, I'm looking it up, thanks user.

eloctrlite water and hemp seeds

You're welcome, just save the birb.

I second that because if he ain't trying to fly around the house then he's hurt in some way.

Afraid I dont have any useful advice, but aww, what a pudgy little cutie. Youre a saint user.

I'll give my best! I will update the story later, hopefully with happy news.
That's what got me worried. Hopefully it's just still only scared. Wouldn blame it, it was a hell of a shock and fall.
Thanks for the support user.

Good luck buddy.

It'll prob die of shock from you taking it home

Older birds are fine. It's the babies that you can't handle.

>any vetfags around?
you'd be better off asking /an/
but yeah, like the other user said just take it to a vet or wild animal center.

Hopefully you get a hold of someone. Often, avaries will travel to pick up wounded birds. Don't call animal control. They'll just put it down. They can break small bones in their wings and tail if they take a nasty fall. Birds are strong, but their wings and tail aren't designed to hit ground like you described. Hopefully, he'll be flapping by the morning. If not, he needs a bird doctor.

aviaries*

Op, get rid of that fucking thing, do you have any idea how many parasites and bacteria those things carry?

If he washes his hands, he'll be fine. He's got it in a cardboard box with a paper towel and it seems to be in a laundry room. Are you afraid to go swimming in a river as well?

>Are you afraid of acquiring a flesh eating parasite through the ear canal?

Yes

Fair enough. Yet, I'll have you know catching bird flu or brain eating amoeba is less likely to happen then you would think.

I'm an idiot, didn't think of that. Welp, I got the tips here so this time r9k will get the credits for saving wildlife.
3rd world country banana land immunity card, I'll be fine.
Yup, washed my hands and sprayed alcohol on a scratch I got from it. Safer than a flu season bus ride.

I'd get it a cage if you can or like outdoor patio with a door.(If it flies just open the door) Give it water and monitor it and see if it will fly, walk ,eat, drink etc.
