What's the best tricep exercise. And is it a muscle that responds to low rep high weight or high rep low weight?

Heavy Skullcrushers 4x8

Thanks

The Triceps has 3 fucking heads with diffrent points of origin. You're gonna need at least 3 movements that complement each other.

Cgbp

you should do pushdowns too imo, skullcrushers dont hit the outer tricep that much in my experience

yeah just like you need 4 exercises to hit your quads
oh, wait. There are literally two worth doing.
Don't post anymore when you're that clueless.

I love skull crushers, just lying on the flor with ez bar - feels great in triceps

The one that hits the long head best (which is the most important for mass) is Skull-crushers, if you want to be strong asf at presses do CGBP instead.
The triceps mostly consist of fast twich fibers meaning that they respond best to heavy weight and low reps.

Jacking off.
Even before i started working out I had big horshoes because i loved to stroke my penis to pornography

Close-Grip bench pressing and overhead pressing with pauses. It responds to any kind of rep range so long as you are progressively overloading. Lifting really is not that complicated.

How does reverse grip bench compare to close grip?

My triceps got fairly big from diamond pushups almost exclusively

Fork put downs. Really target the triceptimus maximus yakno

Heavy bench press

Tricep push downs
Tricep overhead cable extension
Weighted Dips or a seated dips machine
Close grip bench
Skull crushers
>ideally you'd be rotating 2 or 3 of these with your workout just make sure you're doing an Extension movement and a pushing down or dip movement

isolating arms is a meme

close grip is better because it's a great ROM and you can tuck your elbows in more

Dips because you can go heavy af. It's also a practical strength to train, and it works more than only the tris

Skull crushers but actually bashing your face in with dumbells

you only need 2 exercises the rest are just a bonus

if good genetics for tris then bench press and close grip bench press.

if bad genetics then train it twice a week, one after chest and the another with bis idk.
