Povertyfag shopping list

alright Jow Forums, i'm a 6'2 220lbs povertyfag and need a go-to filling 1 meal low effort to prepare diet to scarf down after working 12-13 hour shifts on 2 full time min wage jobs and doing cardio and light lifting at the gym, what do i need to buy to keep me alive and going?

i can afford to spend $16.60 a week on groceries

i was thinking ham, eggs, brown rice, sweet potatoes, lentils, black beans, lettuce and cucumbers

Cucumbers are a waste so is lettuce. Get your greens with broccoli. Cheaper and way better micros. Ham is not the cheapest meat possible. Fatty chicken will be better for price. Other than that, looks like some solid staples.

Is that picture supposed to make me mad at the girl? I'd honestly be pretty mad at my mother too if she only gave me fucking 750$
Let's be real. What can you do with 750$?

nigga jaust get a job 20% higher than the minimum wage they accept anyone what the fuck

>Ham is not the cheapest meat possible. Fatty chicken will be better for price

i only really eat 2 massive meals a day and need something for breakfast, and i've been desensitized to the taste of chicken, but you're right, so i'll be going with ham this week / month but will switch it out for chicken the next

>Cucumbers are a waste so is lettuce. Get your greens with broccoli

god damn, broccoli for breakfast

fuck it next week

ok so a pound of chicken, 2 dozen eggs, pound of brown rice, few pounds of sweet potatoes, pound of lentils, pound of black beans and the rest leftover in broccoli

don't waste your time on two min wage jobs, do one job, use shit tier welfare housing and SNAP, get on vocational schools and get a cert to work a better job, or just join the military

ham is good but not lunch meat, grab the bone in big ham shanks, they go for less than 80 cents a pound where i'm at. second best would be leg quarters, about 80 cents a pound also, but more of it is bone and skin so not getting as much money's worth. the eggs, big 20lb bag of rice, potatoes, beans, lentils, all good. get canned spinach instead of lettuce and maybe canned green beans or some kraut instead of cucumbers, you can use the brine on the kraut as well. peanut butter and the occasional canned sardines for some fats.

>Is that picture supposed to make me mad at the girl?

no it's not supposed to make you be mad at anything
> I'd honestly be pretty mad at my mother too if she only gave me fucking 750$

are you a richfag?
>What can you do with 750$?

i could do a lot actually

-fix my old broken dead gaming PC with a new motherboard ($50)

-upgrade it with a GTX 1060 6GB ($240)

-get a razer cynosa, abyssus and goliathus control pressure medium ($125),

-upgrade my old 720p monitor to a 24" 1ms delay 1080p one ($105)

-get a pair of philips SHP9500S headphones ($100)

-1 hooker for 2 hours ($100)

-bottle of mellow corn ($15)

-V for vendetta mask ($5)

-caldwell iberian express cigar ($6)

-big bag of pretzels ($4)

fix broken gaming pc, upgrade gpu, upgrade monitor, gaming peripherals, book a hooker for 2 hours and get wasted with said hooker, make out, get on the computer, put on mask, get my dick grinded on and sucked while i watch gwen 10 rule34 hentai porn pretending the person sucking my dick is my waifu, light up a cigar and sip on the rest of my whiskey while streaming the entire experience on twitch from my phone

Attached: indeed.jpg (194x259, 6K)

then get banned on twitch and upload the stream video on pornhub

I can think of many things you could get with $750

Attached: 1514578695115.jpg (4272x2848, 1000K)

A lot of cocaine.

what jobs are you talking about exactly?
>
>use shit tier welfare housing
it takes many months / years just to be able to get into one
>SNAP
again, months just to get a response, food isn't that expensive anyway, i don't even think there are any supermarkets in my area that accept SNAP / EBT cards
>get on vocational schools
that costs big $$$
>get a cert to work a better job
what cert for what job and how much
>join the military
i'm gonna pass on amputations, PTSD, night terrors, severe psychological illnesses and or dying thanks

>ham is good but not lunch meat
yeah i know i've just been eating chicken a lot so i'm taking a break from it this week / month
>grab the bone in big ham shanks, they go for less than 80 cents a pound where i'm at
i'll look out for them, where are you at?
>more of it is bone and skin
soups and fried pork skin yum
>get canned spinach instead of lettuce and maybe canned green beans or some kraut instead of cucumbers,

some user said broccoli so i'll get that, if i get fed up i'll switch over to spinach and green bean though
>peanut butter and the occasional canned sardines for some fats

will get some peanut butter, absolutely cannot swallow sardines without instantly gagging and vomiting no matter what recipe i use
gun's a waste, better to just get a tazer gun, save you trouble, lawsuits and the conscious burden /reputation of having ended someone else's life

either way give us some ideas that could rival mine, thread needs bumping anyway
waste imo but gold if you're a druggie i guess

I’d hate to see this $50/hour hooker. That is bottom of the barrel crack addicted hooker rate

wow with that kinda money I would pay for my mattress now instead of having 2384902384983 small monthly payments of gofuckmyself

nah not where i'm at, the girls i know just do it as a side gig from word of mouth and aren't full time
me too

> I would pay for my mattress now instead of having 2384902384983 small monthly payments of gofuckmyself

jesus christ what kind of mattress did you buy does it come with a lifetime supply of mountain dew tendies women and waifus?

you seriously couldn't've just slept on an air mattress on the floor or just gotten a matress and slept on the floor or something?

a full size 6 inch mattress is only $60

amazon.com/Home-Comfort-Sleep-6-Inch-Mattress/dp/B00HZNVINI/ref=sr_1_1?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1529181286&sr=1-1&keywords=mattress&th=1

a queen size 6 inch mattress $70

amazon.com/Home-Comfort-Sleep-6-Inch-Mattress/dp/B00HZNVLTO/ref=sr_1_1?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1529181286&sr=1-1&keywords=mattress&th=1

king size $100

amazon.com/Home-Comfort-Sleep-6-Inch-Mattress/dp/B07B43TG1M/ref=sr_1_1?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1529181286&sr=1-1&keywords=mattress&th=1

normal bed frame $80
amazon.com/Home-Black-Leather-Headboard-Platform/dp/B01264QVVO/ref=sr_1_20?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1529182181&sr=1-20&keywords=bed with headboard

fancy bed frame $95

a matress alone should cost you between $60-100

a mattress plus bed frame and everything should cost you between $140-$150

why in the hell are you paying so damn much?

Attached: whateven.jpg (326x326, 11K)

*a mattress plus bed frame and everything should cost you between $140-$195

bump

am i missing anything?

Strawberries are typically $1 per lb

Attached: FD38D59C-A1BD-488A-96B7-B28A8EE9C709.jpg (750x955, 372K)

Are you fuckin retarded wasting money on 250 calries of strawberries on a 17$week budget.

sorry but i can't afford the luxury of eating pretty looking colorful berries
lol this

>brown rice, sweet potatoes, black beans
was about to post this
chickpeas are pretty cool too

i was originally going to choose chickpeas because it was technically the most nutrient dense bean and has the highest amount of iron but i don't think i could eat them as often as black beans, and there wasn't *too* much of a drastic difference

This is a terrible shopping cart and you should kill yourself you fat nigger

>meat
rotisserie chicken, but at $.69/lb maybe .79
Stuff it and cook it in a crock, preheat oven and put it on broil. Put bird in for 15 minutes or so to crisp it up.

Pull all the meat off, and put the bones and sinew back in to get some broth for stews.

they are slightly different in taste, it'll be nice to change between them
food might be fuel, but you do still have a tongue

>Stuff it and cook it in a crock, preheat oven and put it on broil. Put bird in for 15 minutes or so to crisp it up. Pull all the meat off, and put the bones and sinew back in to get some broth for stews.

christ i said easy to prepare, that's going to deter me from eating what i bought, maybe if i didn't work 80 hours a week and had carpal tunnel

this is usually why i choose easy to prepare meats like ham / beef and chicken breast

Attached: emojis.jpg (326x244, 35K)

My man you need more Kvass in your life.

>$16.60 a week on groceries
What the fuck? Are you in Venezuela or something? Even at my poorest working unskilled labor 70 hours a week I still managed $5 a day for food.

Decent start mate. I'd say:
Milk, eggs, cheap meat (usually you have to stew it otherwise its tough), beans, rice, pasta, potatoes, cheese.

Lettuce and cucumber have shit nutritional value for the price. Swap them for items like brocoli, spinach etc

Choose anything on pic related , according to your $$$ and taste. For me its kidney beans and chick peas only.

*probably not onions milk, if you believe in the memes*

Also canned tuna is great, on days you hate chicken.

Attached: visual-guide-to-plant-based-protein.jpg (930x641, 80K)

also forgot nuts and oats (natural ones) are great too

i go around $20 as a student at campus.

buy a lot of tuna, rice, pasta, meat if possible and broccoli

Just fast and spend your money on crack and whores

>berries
>prepackaged rice
>frozen burritos
This is why you're poor

lol i'll pass on that one vladimir, but thank you for the kind suggestion
>Are you in Venezuela or something?
well i mean i guess you could say south FL is basically kinda like a 3rd world south american shithole minus the socialism
>Even at my poorest working unskilled labor 70 hours a week I still managed $5 a day for food

how much were you getting paid? what kind of work were you doing?
>Milk, eggs, cheap meat (usually you have to stew it otherwise its tough), beans, rice, pasta, potatoes, cheese.

i already included meat beans rice and potatoes, i can't do pasta cheese and milk though, pasta has shit nutrition value per dollar btw it's more of a luxury
>Lettuce and cucumber have shit nutritional value for the price. Swap them for items like brocoli, spinach etc

yeah i'm going to do this, can't really afford fancy salad
saved

>*probably not onions milk, if you believe in the memes*

i really really fucking like the taste of onions milk, but i have documented evidence that it has directly affected my testosterone estrogen and even progesterone level to the point to where it literally made my gyno fucking discharge thick green fluid

never again
>also forgot nuts and oats (natural ones) are great too

all nuts and oats are natural what do you mean

i might be able to get oats but i can't nuts too expensive aren't as filling even though they're nutrition dense
>pasta
shit nutrition unless brown, if that's what you meant then i prefer rice, much cheaper

>rice
i already said that

>tuna

if i get sick of the ham or whatever i'll do tuna but i can't eat it unless it's super cold, on crackers and loaded with mayo, mustard, hot sauce, onions, bell peppers and tomatoes

>meat if possible
already included meat, if you mean beef then that's for better times

>broccoli

yeah i'm going to switch out the lettuce / cucumber for that
lmao

>i'm gonna pass on amputations, PTSD, night terrors, severe psychological illnesses and or dying thanks
TINY percentage of people ever get remotely close to the front lines.

I like Tempurpedic and my back not hurting, cheap mattresses have cucked my back before. Also I have lordosis

> i can afford to spend $16.60 a week on groceries
Jesus, are you in the third world? I spend at least 4x that amount.

How did you find about the onions stuff? I always thought that it is just a phytoestrogens and never really does any harm.
>all nuts and oats are natural what do you mean
I meant old fashioned oats or steel cut oats, and staying away from those cheap oats that are usually processed.

this

that shit is insanely expensive and has literally next to 0 nutritional value

but it makes you feel like you're not poor. tastes better and requires 0 prep / cooking time

maybe he's low IQ

maybe he has CFS or is disabled or something or just lazy and can't prep / cook food

maybe he doesn't know how to cook

maybe he knows how to cook but can't because of something unexpected

maybe he's deathly allergic to literally fucking everything but frozen burritos berries and prepackaged rice

maybe he has kids and they wanted berries because they saw it on a cartoon but he doesn't want to tell them he's broke shit poor and can't even afford basic food items
>TINY percentage of people ever get remotely close to the front lines.

ah yes, but you see, i would rather not risk being put in that """tiny""" percentage, the military doesn't even pay you that well

not to mention how it's harder to get a job if you serve in the military because of the recent political climate and how it affects your social reputation for the same reason

also literally just existing on a military base automatically puts you at risk

Fund an abortion for a nigger

>lordosis

fuck that sucks

so now you have to pay the matress overlords until the day you die for thrice the price in the end just for your cheap chinese shit with a fancy marketing label?

have you tried putting a sheet or topper of viscoelastic foam on the floor by itself, or on a matress on the floor, or on a matress on a frame? and stacking them up to different levels?

or beds like these made out of the same exact material:

$60

>Jesus, are you in the third world?
is the U.S a third world country?

btw in the 3rd world people are actually lucky or even considered wealthy to spend $20 a week on groceries so i'm doing better than everyone that lives in the 3rd world

>I spend at least 4x that amount.

well look at you, i bet you buy pre-assorted packaged toilet paper wipe rolls

S A R D I N E S

>How did you find about the onions stuff? I always thought that it is just a phytoestrogens and never really does any harm.

(1/2)

ever since i was 5 i've done frequent blood work, and up until i was 13 i never went by another year without at least 3 blood tests having been done, between the ages of 10-13, i had my blood tested every month, many times every 2 weeks and a half, i never had any serious problems with testosterone or estrogen, and consumed the same diet everyday, never went below 2000 calories, i had the same routine, and the same workout (bike 1 mile everyday), one day i discovered onions products and the taste of onions milk, i absolutely loved the taste of it and thought it was so good i had to replace all milk i used with it, i used it for cereal for oats whatever, i even ate onions milk cereal with a glass of onions milk for breakfast, i also discovered tofu which was pretty good in stir fries with onions sauce so i started eating that too, but once i started consuming onions, i noticed my gyno went out of control, i developed puffy nipples that stuck 3 inches out in the shape of a dome, there was so much breast tissue build up in the nipple (yes, the nipple, not the breast, and yes breast tissue, almost no fat) that the nipple would sag because of the sheer amount of weight from the breast tissue condensed in the areola, my estrogen skyrocketed to that surpassing my fucking stepmom (yes we literally compared blood work), and my testosterone dropped to unironic near fucking zero (yes zero, literally near zero), but once i stopped drinking basedmilk and consuming onions products, my testosterone levels balanced and my estrogen returned to normal, but then again, once i started consuming basedmilk and onions products it raised

(2/2)

i've observed that fermented onions products like onions sauce don't do this however

the onions meme is not a meme, it's very real and if you have insurance and a few extra bucks and are willing to spend a little time and conscious effort on yourself as your own personal experiment / guinea pig i highly suggest you try it yourself and take your blood work now, then put yourself on a strict schedule / eating regimen for a month, then take your blood work again, and ten alternate all meat and dairy with onions milk / tofu and watch what happens to your testosterone, estrogen and progesterone levels over the course of the next month / 2 months

again fermented onions products like onions sauce and natto etc don't cause this to happen

>I meant old fashioned oats or steel cut oats, and staying away from those cheap oats that are usually processed

ok i haven't seen any oats that aren't rolled or steel cut, and everything goes through a process

do you mean oats with added sugar?

I'm not even bothering checking the links you sent me because I went physically to 20 different mattress stores and tried more than 100 mattress lying down at least 10 mimutes on each. When I tried the Tempurpedic I have now, the feel was completely different to all the other surfaces I ever laid my back on. You know when you try a shoe and it just fits perfectly? I felt like that with this mattress, It's been 2 months since I bought it and every day feels better.

I highly recommend you try the mattress and speak with professionals before you make the purchase, nobody pushed me to an expensive mattress in any of the stores.

I love how that poor, dumb faggot thinks he's a chiropractor when he can't even come up with a grocery list

>I'm not even bothering checking the links you sent me because I went physically to 20 different mattress stores and tried more than 100 mattress lying down at least 10 mimutes on each

ok, but were the mattress you so long spent trying made out of viscoelastic foam, had viscoelastic foam toppers or made purely out of viscoelastic foam?

how many of the 100 mattresses you tried normal / conventional spring mattresses or just topped with a foam layer? how many were manufactured out of pure viscoelastic foam? did you take note of them all?

these are made purely out of the material you're looking for which is the same exact material used in the tempurpedic mattresses

>When I tried the Tempurpedic I have now, the feel was completely different to all the other surfaces I ever laid my back on

sounds good
You know when you try a shoe and it just fits perfectly? I felt like that with this mattress

sounds comfy
>I felt like that with this mattress, It's been 2 months since I bought it and every day feels better.

what about your bank account and the knowledge that you'll be making those payments for a minimum of a half a decade and if something happens and you can't pay for your bed subscription service you'll be sleeping on the floor and or in a prison cell?
>I highly recommend you try the mattress and speak with professionals before you make the purchase, nobody pushed me to an expensive mattress in any of the stores.

i don't have any back problems other than some pain caused by hunching over an unleveled desk and sitting in a hard flat wooden chair that can't even keep my legs up

you know i should actually probably invest in a chair instead of a mattress before i might have to start making $50 monthly payments just to sleep on a bed to Scott L. Thompson until the day i die

Well you got an excuse for everything don't ya, why don't you excuse yourself from life already since you're never gonna make it

you sound like a guy who doesn't get laid and wonders why, dude chill the total is under 1300 bucks. I paid a bit on cash and did 9 months for 80. Plus this shit has 15 years warranty

FATASS CONFIRMED

Skip the ham and just eat lentils/beans instead

>I love how that poor
$23,760 a year is actually in the top 1% of income earners worldwide, i make more in 1 day what the majority of people make in a month

what do you mean i'm poor?
>dumb
given that you didn't already know that, and in regards to this specific conversational context, i would say that there's a higher probability i know more than you
>faggot
i am in fact heterosexual, hmmm, you're not really doing much for your claims
>thinks he's a chiropractor
a chiropractor is a practitioner of the system of complementary medicine based on the diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints, given that i haven't made a any statements which would suggest i believe i'm a qualified practitioner of complementary medicine, i don't see how you would believe that

what i did do however, was participate in a conversation

you should try it actually it's pretty neat, it's actually a fundamental necessary requirement for human social behavior, which is also necessary for psychological well-being

>he can't even come up with a grocery list

"i was thinking ham, eggs, brown rice, sweet potatoes, lentils, black beans, lettuce and cucumbers"

is that not a grocery list?

given your low-quality behavior, i don't think you belong in a board of this caliber

>Well you got an excuse for everything don't ya
what excuse and for what thing?
>why don't you excuse yourself from life already
why would i? because you said i should?

>you're never gonna make it
make what? what do you mean by "make it"?

Attached: bb62b7_5848289.jpg (1200x800, 214K)

>you sound like a guy who doesn't get laid and wonders why
i don't even see how that has anything to do with what we were talking about, but i have in fact gotten laid

>dude chill
i'm pretty chill, under the covers in my dimly lit room with the A.C on watching some youtube

>the total is under 1300 bucks
the cheapest turmpupedic mattress i could find was 1500, was there an offer or something?
>I paid a bit on cash and did 9 months for 80
damn, $80 a month

how much do you make?
>Plus this shit has 15 years warranty
cool guess just hope the company doesn't go bankrupt from price gouging chinese materials on the internet
kek
i can fit the ham into the budget without sacrificing anything got plenty of beans even some left over
dead meme

how was any of that cringe i thought it was pretty neat and kinda funny

>how much you make?
Way more in a month than you in a year, apparently
You sound autistic af

>Way more in a month than you in a year, apparently
that's great what do you do?
>You sound autistic af
why?

>80 hour work weeks
Must be nice.

You city pussies throw that shit around like it's some massive fucking effort.

>city pussies
i don't live in a city
>like it's some massive fucking effort.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics release of data in the Employment Situation Survey for February 2018, Americans worked an average of 34.5 hours per week

working 80 hours a week is in fact not just above average, but 2.3x the national average

according to the american council on exercise, a 150-pound person burns about 114 calories per hour, or 912 calories in eight hours of standing, or 4,560 for a total of 40 hours a week, doing that for 80 hours a week burns 9,120 calories, double the amount of the rounded average, the greater the weight, the more calories burned

thus, your body requires a greater caloric intake as it is exerting more physical effort, requiring double the effort, and is therefore more demanding, or as you would say a "massive fucking effort"

Easy

Milk, whey, powdered oats

Chicken thighs/20% beef, rice, broccoli

Bread, tuna, mayo + tin of lentil soup

You can probably eat 4000-5000 calories of this stuff within your budget
