Just bought some creatine for the first time, I've never used it before. What does it do and how much/when should I take it?

Should mention it's x10 better than anything else because of how pure and fine it is.

The label says "researchers recommend loading for the first 3 days. To load for 3 days, take 2 servings (Their serving is 5g) twice a day. On days of your workout, take 2 servings before your workout and 2 servings after your workout. On days that you don't workout, take at any other time of the day. AFTER THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF LOADING, take 1 serving twice a day"
So I should take 2 servings right now? Why does the label say to take two 5g servings per day even after I load it? Should I only take 5g per day?

5g daily, no need to cycle or load. After a few weeks, when your muscles are saturated, timing doesn't matter as long as you take it daily. Remember to drink more water, maybe 1l more at least?

Creatine doesn't work for me. I don't gain weight or strength, nor do I lose it when I come off.
The REAL challenge is drinking enough water.
About 4-5 glasses is a decent amount.
Only drink the DISSOLVED powder. That is important.
If there's powder still at the bottom, just refill the glass and stir, until you get at least 99% of it.

While you focus on overcoming the muscle cramps, I'll tell you why they are happening:
The substance that you just took, may say Creatine on the bottle, but technically it's not really Creatine. It's Creatine-monohydrate. It's a substance that MAKES creatine, if you add water to it.
...but if you just eat it, then guess what: It will start reacting with the water inside your body instead, most of it inside your muscles. This will dry up your muscles, causing severe cramps.
The cramps will sieze once the water reaches your muscles too, at least in theory.
Oh, if you REALLY want to experiment with bio-chemistry, take creatine-monohydrate, with a sugary soft drink. Now, instead of creatine and water, you can get all SORTS of fun experimental creatine-glucose combinations.

dude you fucked up big time. there's a serious catalytic reaction between the Creatine monohydrate and the ingredients in sips... you should drink some ketchup to neutralize the reaction, since ketchup is basic.
Like who knows? It's completely uncharted territory you're in where-in there has been no human testing done, or even animal testing for that matter.
On one hand you have a monohydrate molecule poised to react with any carbohydrogen, and on the other hand you have a sea of various carbohydrate in your soft drink. The resulting reactions can yield ANYTHING. It's like why mixing medicine and alcohol is a bad idea.

It's actually real. Noobs do this all the time, and then complain when they get cramps. I fucked up too when I started taking creatine, and got foot cramps. That's how I learned to only drink the dissolved actual creatine.

Not that guy but my creatine specifically says to take it with a drink that has glucose. I usually mix it with like half a cup of OJ
