Are men actually capable of genuinely falling in love with a woman? Accepting her for who she is? Do men even want long-term relationships anymore?

That's all I ever wanted
A relationship to last a lifetime
Women always are the ones to leave me

unless we're going to date irl then no, online relationship are cancer and they never work out.
combine an online relationship where you both play games and stuff with the fact you're both close enough to each other to meet irl as well and you got yourself a way better chance at it.

its literally what we want but females just want casual sex with chad

With females having so many sex partners, no we can't. You'll just leave anyway like you did the others. Why would we fall in love with a thot?

>women will leave
See?

Bait has been told off now OP. Begone.

No one here has any experience with relationships so we can't tell.

>Women always are the ones to leave me
It was the opposite for me

Nah, you just want someone to fuck and dump

Men cheat and break up more often than women

Yes. If I liked a girl enough, I'd never leave her. Where are you from?

Your third point is incorrect. Women cheat more often and are the ones to initiate divorce most of the time.

Men want companionship but women hate that. They want to be dominated, just look at the books they read. Once a girl sees their man in a weak moment she loses respect and it's all over.

Let me tell you a story about my e-gf. I helped and helped be it mental issues or real life issues, and first I was given a deadline to meet or break up, then intolerance for faults and conflicts. Bad people are bad people, be they female or male.

There's no such thing as love. Every relationship is a transaction and will end whenever one or both partners doesn't hold up their end of the deal. Simple as that. Couples who claim to be in love break up all the time over the smallest or most superficial things. People just like to cover and sugarcoat things with fake emotions like love to convince themselves the relationship has meaning. But everyone knows all relationships are business deals kept alive by shallow terms and agreements.

yes but I expect 100 percent absolute loyalty from women but that is impossible because women will throw you under the bus when push comes to shove. why should I sacrifice myself for women when they will cheat on me and betray me?

im beginning to believe this
for so long ive desired to fall in love with someone, to experience the emotions and such, happiness and comfort and love. I wanted those things so badly
but after all these years, Im just convinced they dont exist.

Women are capable of love.

Just not of loving you.

will rem love me?

I don't know if I am capable of love, but I want to be. All I ever wanted was a loving relationship with a soulmate.

Are woman actually capable of genuinely falling in love with a man? Accepting him for who he is? Do woman even want long-term relationships anymore ?

I want but women are evil and selfish creatures

She would rather be second to Emelia than love you. She does love her man, though. And he loves her.

Because love is an action not a feeling. It's staying together no matter what happens. It's helping one another through good times and bad.

2.5 years, lived with her for 2
Give me a medal

That's straight facts

who is her 'man' and why cant it be me?

Attached: rem2.jpg (1980x1244, 817K)

>It's helping one another through good times and bad
I'd argue it's much more important to learn how to help eachother through life's nothingness
Most days are boring and null, keeping eachother happy in the purgatory is the biggest challenge

here's your medal, wear it proudly

Subaru-kun. It cannot be you because you have not changed her life, you are not her hero, you are not a nice guy, etc.

cant get 3d women...
cant get 2d women...
whats the point of even living then?

Attached: 1530131246355.jpg (426x460, 56K)

this.
I think people get disillusioned by the loss of "butterflies" and bonding chemicals as a relationship grows older, because they've gotten their concept of love from tv shows and movies. But love isn't just a nervous shy teenage couple awkwardly holding hands, it's two 50 year olds who have been together through a world of shit as well. love is an ongoing choice to stay with someone. it's not supposed to feel like butterflies all the time.

How do people fall for these type for threads? Are you just interested in how they play it out or are you genuinely falling for this?

Attached: IMG_0685.png (200x200, 4K)

No one said this would be easy.

Until you find your own reason to live, women will have no interest in you.

itt robots of either gender find that most people are awful and only focus on fulfilling their own desires.
It's not gender specific. love is a pain in the ass for everyone.

And how many people can you say are capable of doing that? Almost none I would venture. Everyone has standards they expect their partner to uphold. The guy got fat? Time to end it. The girl lost her looks? Time to end it. The guy's broke and lost his job? Time to end it. Someone better comes along? Time to end it and move on to that person. The whole unconditional thing and staying together no matter the circumstances is heavily romanticized and not sustainable. Look how high the divorce rate is.

only men are the true romantics and only men can love.

Men are more loyal and won't branch swing the way women do, but even then I don't think they're capable of love. Like I said, everyone has standards and conditions for a relationship to start and for it to last. I mean, would you date a fatty? Or a used up slut? Or would you continue to date a girl if she became fat or ugly or something else? Most people wouldn't and understandably so. And this is my own definition, but if it's conditional like this, it's not love. Which is fine, too, leave love to fiction and keep it out of real life. Accept this truth and stop romanticizing things.

My "gf" tried to drown me with her other "best" gf in her home pool back when I was 12, I had only female teachers that somehow had an on-going hatred towards young males and tried to oppress them by being overly vocal, loud and aggressive about the most minor things.

I have not yet met a single female that was interesting to me or shared the same interests, I have not yet met a single female who was capable of carrying a conversation unless they were around the age of 40-50 and basically cougars in dire need of a dick to fuck them
I have never met a women who shared my kind of humor/music taste/view on the world.

Women are jus mindless fleshbags to me, I doubt they even have personalities.
Yes I hate my own mother and think she is retarded in all aspects of her actions.

The divorce rate is high because most people are morons. My parents marriage made it through many hurdles. I don't apply their statistics to me because I'm not a moron like most people are.

>I don't think they're capable of love

men take bullets for women all of the time and they don't leave women during hard times.

Attached: the power of male love.png (903x848, 572K)

Some men do. That's all I ever wanted. I felt.kinda odd in junior high because I would date women thinking I was finding mrs right. To my surprise alot of then would end up moving on because they "were too young for anything serious and needed to explore life" which I get. Its called settling down for a reason. But there were women at that age too looking to settle down. Now I've been with my wife for ten years (we are 23 and 25) and when people ask us how we stay together we say the same thing. We are together as long as we are happy, when the day comes that we are miserable with each other we will let each other go. That day has never came. Now we have moved through high school, college, moved in together and had a baby. It's nice, and as you get older women hit the point of wanting to settle down and so do men so you have s good chance.

Your parents' exception don't make it the rule. Fact is, long-term relationships are not compatible with most people. You may think you're not a moron like the rest of them, but you'll be surprised how easily you'll fall into the same traps and pitfalls.

If the girl is intelligent with a great body and face then yes, if one of those 3 is missing then its just going to be friends with benefits until I find all 3

My parents have been happily married for 25 years though. It's pretty easy to disprove an absolute statement like that.

Attached: 1457390320320.jpg (655x527, 34K)

I do! but im gay

A lasting relationship =/= love. Like I said, relationships only last as long as both partners hold up their end of the deal. Your parents satisfied each other's standards for all this time, probably. If one of them stopped, their marriage would probably end right there. Or maybe they're not even happy and they're only together for your sake. Or maybe they've gotten used to each other and are too lazy or comfortable to find someone else. I guess it depends on your definition of love, but an arrangement like this isn't love to me. Our ideal romanticized definition of love only exists in fiction.

How is it difficult to see how people love each other. To me it's pretty simple. People love their children and would do anything for them yes? You consider that love? Why is it difficult to believe two people not bound by blood can come together and feel the same way

>Or maybe they've gotten used to each other and are too lazy or comfortable to find someone else
That's probably the correct one. They barely leave the house anymore. But your standards for what "true love" is are way too high. They enjoy each other's company, and don't feel like dating anyone else, is that not enough? I'd be pretty happy with that.

Attached: 1521468404812.png (741x568, 29K)

I did and then got cheated on.
You whores aren't worth it.

Always depends on the man. Everyone is different. Some want to fuck you and dump you, some want long emotional relationships. I personally, just want to die already.

Attached: 1530320088889.jpg (640x480, 44K)

I don't deny love between parents and children exists, but romantic love between two people? Nah. That's always conditional. Kids can never be replaced, but romantic partners always can and often are.
You're right, my standards are high. I've always been an idealist and the reality of things has disappointed me.

I get bored after 2 months every time, I don't know what's wrong with me but I go from wanting to move out with my gf and then just getting bored and splitting up just before I do so.

Attached: 1530127484302.jpg (768x768, 121K)

I dont think you can call yourself a realist or idealist. I think your a pessimist. You assume the worst situation so that you are right..but that attitude leads to the worst occurring. You limit your choice for good and when you see good happen you ride it off as a short exception

I cant agree more. Everybody wants different things in life but not everybody realizes that. Some men and women just want to fuck. Some men and women want to start a family. Some men or women want to cheat. Some dumbass women say that all guys are pigs who just think about their dick. And some dumbass men say all women are whores who dont care about anybody.

>Are men actually capable of genuinely falling in love with a woman
Woman don't love neither do some men.

I want a long term relationship. I want someone I can 100% trust and spend a lot of time with and that I can genuinely feel has the same feelings towards me, and that I can cuddle and be intimate with.

That said, I'm also 26, spent most of my life being fat (not anymore though) and don't socialise, so it gonna happen.

I am now. George Carlin said it best, "Inside every cynical person is a disappointed idealist." Describes me pretty well.

I am but I am really bad at meeting women.

Fuck you. You don't get to ask that question. Not even as bait. Not after all I've done and been through trying to find even one (1) woman who would so much as give me a chance so we could see if any relationship was possible.

>tell my failed normie friends that I only want a relationship if it can ne really close and last our lives
>"ooooh dude just don't even try to talk to girls bro, trust us"

>Are men actually capable of genuinely falling in love with a woman? Accepting her for who she is? Do men even want long-term relationships anymore?
Not real men. Real men have options. But there's nothing wrong with a long term relationship that's just a charade as long as he keeps his whores at the proper distance and respects basic boundaries.

Then how come men keep trying yet women never give us the time of day? If fembots existed, logically they would be the ones trying. Fembots don't exist.

I did once, but being around women beat that out of me.
Now I just want you to leave me alone.

Does anyone even want long term relationships anymore? It feels like so much of modern day society is conditioned towards immediate gratification that people simply don't have the patience to take their time time to fall in love with someone on a personal level. This could also be why our society seems so hedonistic and shallow, no one has the time for depth

Attached: 2A0FFA27-1E17-4492-AEE8-3A746EB06804-41007-0000207732825694.gif (450x463, 944K)

They are not. They think they love someone but they get bored very easily and want someone new. They don't know how to be loyal and they certainly can't stay in a long term relationship without resenting the person they are with.

damn, I understand you completely
and I can't even shit on normies for this because im guilty of it as well
constantly I rush into 2d relationships wanting to instantly feel that feeling of love, and it never works out. im never patient enough and I end up losing interest.

Attached: 1529683571670.jpg (600x683, 47K)

My ex gf dumped me years ago and im still a virgin. I want someone to hug, cuddle and love.
Doesn't matter because I'm not going to find her. What's the point of even trying to convince you, its not like its going to give me someone to take care of and love.

That's all I want, she has to be a virgin like me though and committed.

Attached: 1412842753297.jpg (850x941, 130K)

I know I'm not and I don't. I don't want a short term relationship either. I also don't want sex.
I don't realize what any of this shit is, what it's for, why it's desireable to anyone, why it should be desireable to me, how to fix myself, etc.

Thanks for posting such a cute picture, user. I appreciate it.

>Do men even want long-term relationships anymore?

No, women stacked the deck so much in their favor men can't be arsed anymore. I live in Canada which has common law and after 2 years if a woman leaves me, she gets an alimony handout from me as a reward. Marriage is a wealth transfer to women with a huge chance of ending in divorce and having all our money go to (((lawyers))).

It's funny how women say men are afraid of commitment but marriage became less popular with men at the same time women lobbied for no-fault divorce to ensure it wasn't a commitment, and file for most divorces, and cheat more than men do. Really makes u think.

>Are men actually capable of genuinely falling in love with a woman? Accepting her for who she is? Do men even want long-term relationships anymore?

I think you got men and women the wrong way around there good pal.

Yes. I want three kids, a white picket fence and a dog called Spot.

I'm guessing you just dated a chad and he pumped and dumped you?

Attached: 1511183564798.jpg (635x402, 26K)

Yup, marriage is such a stupid financial risk for a man these days (unless you're marrying a sugar mama)

Some men do but they're invisible for you.

This. Even the most ""'"desperate""" woman only wants chad. Just checkout cc anytime for proof.

Thanks for the Thanks!
