anyway, transplants are good for people like him or Clooney who have only some receeding at the temples but other than that a nice full head of hair, if you start thinning all over the top or you temples haven't stopped and are still progressing a transpant will actually accelerate the hairloss of the remaining hair so you will end up like a lot of miserable bastards with a fake straight hairline, bold spot right behind that and a disgusting scar at the back.

I've done OBSESSIVE amounts of research on hair loss causes, treatments, and transplants,and there's no fucking reason to get one done in the west unless you're extremely wealthy or can't be hassled to take a plane ride. There's a lot of misinformation in this post. First of all grafts will not "accelerate" hair loss, as it has nothing to do with DHT and the lifecycle of a hair follicle. Also, most transplants today are FUE, not FUT, so there is no linear scar or scarring at all for that matter. Other than that I agree that transplants work best when filling in receded temples rather than attempting to repair Norwood 4 dudes, and that's why I'm so pumped to get my Norwood 2 temples filled in.

I'm pretty well off, but I think I'm too far gone for any of these treatments. I have no hair at the top, only at the sides. Pretty much like Statham, but without the good looks.
I never really wanted to contact any of these clinics, cause I think they'd just say 'oh yes, it's totally possible for you' etc. But do you think it's worth is with that amount of loss?
I was gonna wait and see what was happening with that 'new' discovery in Korea or Japan something like that. But, it's probably bullshit anyway.

Some people are probably pitying me because they think I'm balding, but generally people tell me it looks great.
BUT, I have also had several women, that were previously very openly interested in me take a 180 turn and got completely dismissive, one even admitted it was because of the hair.
