I think he might have acromioclavicular seperation, your shoulders aren't supposed to sit like that.
Veganism = weak joints and ligaments

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the nutrition but its a very inconvenient diet and the food isn't as tasty imo. If you want to go for it.

Don't make claims like this without providing evidence. Does vegan strongman Patrik Baboumian have weak joints despite holding a world record?

I have been eating mostly vegan and my gains are the same as they were before. The only things you need to worry about are B vitamins and omega-3s. I personally cheat with fish oil (I'm not a Nazi about this shit, some people would want to castrate me for it) but flax oil should be fine.
Onions isn't necessary at all, I get all the protein I need from whole food sources like lentils. Pea protein is a good supplement if you have trouble.

>nothing wrong with the nutrition
1. Non-heme iron is absorbed at less than half the rate of heme iron, so unless you're eating 2 servings of spinach with every meal you are not getting a healthy amount of iron.
2. Magnesium is found only in low amounts in most commercially available vegetables and nuts, and the "clean" analog found in multivitamins is not absorbed as readily either.
3. Vitamin B12
4. While you can get BCAA's from fruits and some rhizomes/seeds, you have to eat a ridiculous amount to get a healthy level and balance, most people severely lack glucosamine when switching to a vegan diet. Are you going to be eating lotus seeds and water lily tubers every day to match your intake?
5. Selenium

I could go all day but the main fact is that you have to be rich and in the middle of a ridiculous market in order to meet your basic nutrition without drinking shit like onions and taking carcinogenic multivitamins, and even on top of that your body is not processing it in the same way that it would if you were eating a well balanced diet. Are their cultures and ethno groups that have actually evolved to eat frugivorous or herbivorous diets? Yes. Are you from the small number of Asiatic/Oceanic, South American, or Mid African tribes that have done so? No. Eat for your genetics.

t. the only fucking nutritionist on this board

Answer to literally everything there
youtube.com/watch?v=JLQ63y5aTpo

that, and brazil nuts for selenium. Supplementing b12 is easy as fuck. I'm not even vegan but unless you haven't got your diet in check (i.e. normie faggot) those are non-issues

>brazil nuts
Again, one of the most expensive foods on the market. Do you sprinkle saffron on top of your mac and cheese for the health benefits too? I'm sorry but the majority of people who switch to veganism don't have the salary to afford this shit, and when they realize that, but they've already devoted to the ideal, they cop out and start taking multivitamins and meal replacements. It's not healthy. If you're making 50k a year and have a low mortgage with your wife and no kids, fine. But that's not the case with 90% of the people making this dietary choice. Eat to be healthy, be morally just in other aspects of your life, honestly.

DIOS MIO

1. Pea protein contains so much iron that it balances out the absorption factor
2. There is barely any magnesium in meat. 3oz of beef = only 18mg. The entire population would benefit from magnesium supplements which typically contain 250mg.
3. Despite the fact that 95% of the United States eats meat, about 40% of Americans are deficient in B12. Everyone should be taking these vitamins.
4. Pea protein contains substantial quantities of every BCAA.
5. Sunflower seeds, or just supplement

None of this shit is expensive at all.
In addition a multivitamin isn't necessary as you can buy the few vitamins you need separately.
Of course I wouldn't attempt such a diet in a third-world country, but regular people who are interested in it shouldn't have an issue.

how come his neck and shoulders are so small, and his bicep is so low down his arm?

1 brazil nut costs around 7cent. it gives you 165% of daily recommendation.
You obv have no Idea about nutrition.

I wish I could become vegan but sadly I am allergic to many nuts, fruits and vegetables.

My pathetic body forces me to participate in the slaughter and consumption of innocent animals. I'm so sorry.

Literally the first result I found
>5 lbs for $55

>a 1-ounce serving contains 543.5 micrograms of selenium.

so 14g/day would leave you with MORE than enough selenium.

5 lbs @ 55 dollars leaves you at 0.0242508488 dollars per gram
so 14 grams/day = $0.339511883/day

OH NO 33 CENTS A DAY IS TOO EXPENSIVE I'M SO POOR. Fucking retard.

Also Big Meat is unironically behind the coincidental rise in allergies in modern domesticated man. I don't have the full evidence yet but I'm working on it.

Literally none of what you listed is a non-solvable problem exclusive to a vegan diet.

>Nutritionist

No one gives a fuck dude. Do you expect everyone to just bend over so you can start ramming after you state your authority? Asking a nutritionist for nutrition advice seems to be as reliable as asking a PT for training advice.

1. No, they don't. Peas can be grown in poor soil, which they usually are, and they do not magically produce iron unless there are high amounts of iron present in the soil. The measurement for peas nutritional value is taken from the top most fertile productions and the rest follow suite, regardless of whether they're cropped in the same grade soil.
2. An average 1lb serving of 80% grassfed, lean beef has 110mg of magnesium, the rest you can get from fish or nuts like cashews, but it takes care of 1/3 your AI and most of your protein in one meal.
3. No, people should be eating better meat. The fact is that that statistic accounts for people who only eat a small serving of red meat a day, and people who eat ultra processed meats like packaged deli and fast food.
4. Again, no, they don't. They contain relative amounts compared to other vegetables but the AI for BCAA's is underwritten for this reason specifically.
5. Sunflower seeds contain negligible amounts and the majority of people need them salted, when they're salted they're usually covered in ionized salt, which causes cells to lock up and refuse intake to water/other electrolytes, which lead to more issues than just your daily dose of selenium. Hint : magnesium is an electrolyte.

All of this shit is expensive once you stop riding your parents wallet, Zach. As I said before, multivitamins and vitamins have been proven to be carcinogenic by and large, and the fact that you have to take a pill to substitute real food is just showing how imperfect this diet choice is.

PS. I live in Sweden, all of our shit is way more expensive and I still get by eating healthy AS FUCK at about 3000-4000 SEK/month (that's 350-460 burgermoney for you). Just don't be a passive fucking retard watching TV all day long and actually spend some of your free time looking into good deals and ways to eat cheap and healthy, it's not only doable but easy as all fuck. Hey, ever heard of the internet and bulk buys? Here's the best part! Once you find a good place to buy X, Y, Z from, you can keep buying it there nice and cheap over and over. WHO KNEW THESE THINGS WERE POSSIBLE? Clearly not you, retard. Mail me your degree so I can piss on it, faggot.

You real mad about your fake foods and shit health m8s.

>Sweden
>claiming reasonable advice and logic ever
Pick one.

Oh, you might've gotten confused there. I'm not the country, I live in it. Hope I cleared up the confusion for you.

not training shoulders and neck enough and bad insertions

>roleplaying as a "nutritionist" on an image board for Chinese cartoons.
>so useless you can't even roleplay as a profession that requires an actual education

Attached: ayyyy.jpg (500x375, 52K)

1. Pea protein isolate contains 8mg iron per scoop. Can't argue with nutrition facts brah.
2. Just a second ago you were complaining about how expensive brazil nuts were, now you're talking about grassfed beef... gg
3. Same as point 2
4. See related image
5. Eat them unsalted phaggot. Vegans are the last sorts of people to care about how their food tastes.
1 cup of sunflower seeds contains 136% DV selenium.

All of the vitamins I have listed have not been proven to be carcinogenic even in synthetic form.
Taking a pill to substitute real food of course is not natural, but neither are modern medicine, the internet, or barbells. Yet most people would consider these things good for us.

>2. An average 1lb serving of 80% grassfed, lean beef has 110mg of magnesium, the rest you can get from fish or nuts like cashews, but it takes care of 1/3 your AI and most of your protein in one meal.
>advocating eating 3lbs of grassfed beef a day to meet your magnesium needs
>"eating vegan is expensive"

Heme iron causes cancer you fucking literal brainlet.

Non vegans are deficient in 7 nutrients on average, vegans in 3.

Maybe learn how to read science literature and stop falling for Paul Watson memes

He just has extra T from being black, otherwise you're fucked

mirin biceps but wheres everything else lol

Pea protein tastes like shit

Mate are you fucking serious? Honestly? How the fuck are you going to try arguing that sunflower seeds are generally salted and that it tends to be ionized? Literally grasping at straws here lmao, sunflower seeds are like $5/kg or something insanely cheap like that and getting them saltless is literally just selecting the item that doesn't say "salted", in fact I've never seen salted sunflower seeds. Sprinkle those fuckers on bread, it's tasty as fuck.

Fucking hell, are you trolling? This is literally not an argument.

>you can't get X, Y, Z
-"yes you can, from A, B, C foods"
>b-but A, B, C is so expensive at $5/kg! Poor idiots won't be able to afford it and they won't be able to eat it without adding arsenic for taste!

Fucking hell. I seriously hope you didn't pay for your degree. It fucking better have been state-funded or something to that effect, for your sake, of course, because I care about you xoxo let's be friends again

>not getting triple chocolate flavored protein powder
not gonna make it

It's a viable diet but I wouldn't recommend it unless you already make sure you get your nutrients. Also you're gonna have to eat so fucking much to gain weight. I would just limit your meat to one meal a day or something, I used to do that and it worked great.

>bread
>oxalate rich sunflower seeds
>healthy

lmao

Plants make oxygen and you want to fucking eat them? Way to go, veganfags.

Just eat sunlight brah. Photosynthesis dietfags get in here

El duende verde

It can work but it's so hard to get all the nutrients you need.

IT IS A FAD!!!!! Nothing else

Brainlet spotted

It's really no harder than eating an actually balanced meat based diet

It is, because you need to eat a large variety of plants at very large quantities to get what you need, whereas animal products are a lot more nutrient dense. You can just eat a couple of steaks and those will cover 90% of your nutritional needs.

>Literally none of what you listed is a non-solvable problem exclusive to a vegan diet.
Reading any Jow Forumsizen's opinion on veganism won't be worth it for another 3 to 5 years. Until then it's just going to be faggots like the """nutritionist""" you're talking to. Don't waste your time.

>its a very inconvenient diet
It really isn't unless you're a fatass that doesn't make your own meals
>I don't have the time to make my own food!
lmao yeah right

Veganism will make your dick fly off!!
>buy our supplements

Attached: 68468463846848.png (859x744, 724K)

This is completely anecdotal, but the vegans/vegetarians I know are all either fat, weak, or skeleton mode. They're also insufferable, but just avoid politics and food and they're alright.

She speaks like she just gave someone a blowjob.

>Non-heme iron is absorbed at less than half the rate of heme iron, so unless you're eating 2 servings of spinach with every meal you are not getting a healthy amount of iron.
The more non heme iron you consume and the less heme iron you consume, the more your body increases its absorption, try harder.
>Selenium
200g of cooked pasta has over 100% of RDA of selenium, try harder
>vitamin B12
Literally most people benefit from supplementing it considering our soils are being deprived of it and foods have nowhere near as much b12 nowadays as they used to hundreds of years ago.
>While you can get BCAA's from fruits and some rhizomes/seeds, you have to eat a ridiculous amount to get a healthy level and balance
No you don't lmao, check the amino acid profile of peanut butter and that of bread, mix the two and you have a literal complete protein.
>Magnesium is found only in low amounts in most commercially available vegetables and nuts, and the "clean" analog found in multivitamins is not absorbed as readily either.
Most people benefit from magnesium supplementation, plus you can just get it from literal pasta, legumes, peanuts, nuts, seeds?

>I could go all day but the main fact is that you have to be rich and in the middle of a ridiculous market in order to meet your basic nutrition without drinking shit like onions and taking carcinogenic multivitamins
Literal peanut butter and bread cover the vast majority of your nutrition, you're delusional if you think this is expensive lmao.
That or pasta and pepper, tahini and spices.
Nut and seed butters and grains are possibly the cheapest most reliable source of nutrition in any diet. 100g of peanut butter has more protein than any animal product except maybe chicken breast.

>large variety of plants at very large quantities to get what you need

You still need to do that as a meat eater, the steaks will easily give you the protein and calorie requirements but very little else

I'm a vegan and honestly it's less than ideal for getting built, you have to eat way more and it seems to be taking way longer for me (this may also be due to me being 6'7").

For either light fitness, weigth loss or just general health it's hands down the best. Meatoids are just too fat/short/get sick often (I had no idea about this until I lived with them) for me to believe otherwise, and whenever anything happened which tested fitness e.g. jogging due to late to exam, it was ridiculous how quick they fatigued despite all of us doing minimal exercise.

Attached: 1499401659909.gif (524x399, 53K)

nut/seed butters lad, dense as fuck in protein and calories and minerals

I think this may have been a factor, I barely changed my diet out of laziness. Actively started picking foods for lifting about 3 weeks ago, still waiting to see if it makes a large difference

t. retard

Get Magnesium Glycinate. It is the most-readily absorbed magnesium supplement. Everyone needs to take Magnesium supplements, no matter what diet you are on, because the soil is depleted of Magnesium thanks to agriculture and it only shows up in food in sparing quantities.

holy shit did you waste your money. your entire degree absolutely btfo by a few google searches and common sense

>literal

If you want to look like this faggot, please fucking end yourself.

This jolly green faggot has some string bean in his DNA I swear.

I guess there's some truth to 'you are what you eat' because he looks like a lean pile of moldy vegetables.
