Oof you got more money than me if only I had this setup it would be the shit, I have shit laptop from Walmart thats 3 years old now

>built by parts
Laptop
>loan
+ I got the TV as gift.
>shed?
Looks like a motel
Damn the laptop was a gift from my mom and the microwave and fridge I found for 40 bucks altogether at the thrift store. My laptop works well enough to browse and play OSRS so Im comfy right now but I plan on building my own computer once my job starts becoming more reliable.
Is that actually a shed though? Can you post a pic from how it looks outside?
Thanks ;) that made me feel good even if it wasnt intentional.
It's Apartment. It even had wooden windows. They are plastic now tho.
I currently make a lot working for myself and im getting an apartment in a nice city with almost no work and im gonna invest in a bunch of side businesses and projects until I get more even income coming in then im gonna just buy mortgage a house and probably find more stuff to do more shit and grow weed or something for even more money.
I talk to people every day who make like 100 to 1000s every day working for themselves. no college
what does
>working for themselves
mean?
sure, but it's not comfier than my mobile home/single-wide trailer/manufactured home
Front of shed :)
fuck you. I might have low income but at least i try to buy "nice" stuff and keep everything clean and tidy
looks like a rape dungeon
i cook my ramen here
You get used to the hum of an A/C when the choice is the sound or it being burning hot.
>It's actually a fucking shed
From doorway
Even if not real. That's not comfy at all tho.
Looks comfy lad
origs
at first I thought that was a bus or rv turned into a home and I was so jealous my dream is to drive around like that
all the times I've posted you're the first to say that. Is it the day light LED bulbs? I have soft white lighting for the evening, sir.
thank youa!
Tsk tsk you may be comfy bout how comfy is your wallet, I pay my mother only $75 to live here while I save money to move into a cabin
>up stairs
damn that's awesome? Did you inherit, buy or build it yourself? How do you get power?
I rent from my mom, she has a lot of land and its connected to the main power.
it close enough to a bus lol
honestly im pretty strapped for cash but i dont have family to leech off of, plus i am 26 and if i wasnt independent i think i'd be suicidal. im already severely depressed as it is.
It's the whole interior. It just seems lonely.
>tfw this motherfucker's shed unironically looks nicer than the apartment I pay $900 a month for
Hmm, Im only 20 so I guess its a little better for me to still be leeching off my mom. I mean she owes me though I took care of her when she was hooked on drugs and all of my family abandoned her. I also make sure she doesnt start using again and Im kind of worried for her you know...
do you work? study?
Clean user! And thirt stores are your best friend for interior decorating.
I work, saving to move out and to go to community college.
What about water? Surely you need a toilet, and a sink.
Imagine having to brag to a board full of NEETs to feel okay
You must really suck.
I would be afraid of bed bugs from a thrift store desu. I got them from an AirBNB once and it ruined my room for 3 fucking months
originally, what is a thrift store? I live in germany and i've never heard of something like that. Is it like second-hand?
Yes its the same as a second hand store
Not wrong friend I have a pretty poopy life
This is outrageously comfy, user. Literally my dream home. I'm going to build something like this one day. I actually don't like living in a large house or apartment but studio apartments don't really exist here, so I have to live in more space than I want.
I usually shit at work but I use the shower in the main house. I have water bottles for ramen and I use plastic dishes and cutlery.
>I usually shit at work
my sides
taking frugal living to the next fucking lvl
I also get a decent meal at work so I dont need dinner when I get home
>which is normally around 1-2 am 5 days a week
What're you doing that you only get home by 2am?
I work in a bar/grill as a line cook. I close for the extra hours and free food.
I'm extremely lonely. I live alone with my dog, family is nearby so they come over often. But what makes it look lonely?
Appreciate the compliment, user. Dream home? Wow. I feel it's too small for me, honestly. But then again I live in consumerism america and been told all my life to buy shit and get a big ass house... I do want a cozy fenced it backyard with woods nearby it....
Right outside from my shed
How do you get into a job with that? Did you just apply? Do they train you or can you do something like that with 0 experience?
*into a job like that
I worked fast food before, they train you pretty well though (at least they did here) I learned how to make some decent food working there. Its a comfy job if you can handle the dinner rush, one of the bartenders is a real qt and we drink after work sometimes.
You dont really need experience is what Im trying to say
Currently living in my mother's basement; this is half of my living space - the other half has my sofas and 54" TV.
Ah, fuck, I forgot to upload the pic.
*natural disaster teleports behind u*
heh..
This is also Comfy as fuck
Heh tornados, earth quakes, or hurricanes here friend.
>active volcano rumbles
Those same things inside a hotel room are pretty comfy desu
I meant no tornados, earthquakes, or hurricanes here.
Yep. Large dwellings are so wasteful. My parents had a really big house when I was young and most of it was never really used as there was no reason to. Waste of resources and annoying to keep clean and tidy. People in large homes usually end up buying a bunch of shit they don't need, because they want to fill all their space with shit.
Ideally, I just want a small kitchen, small bathroom, one living area with enough space for a couch, tv, board rack, desk and bed + some floor space to do stretches etc, as well as a room for storage.
Not to mention it generates lifestyle creep: oh we have to fill that extra room with shit we will use once and forget about! This shit keeps you in debt forever and causes panic attacks when you get a small unexpected bill for a car repair or something.
Minimalism is freedom.
I want to live in a shed in someones back yard so fuckin badly, but my bullshit city has so much zoning against that kind of thing.
Do you have a bathroom in there? Does it have a vent?
Who /upstairs/ here?
>Minimalism is freedom.
preach it, brudda
>I rent from my mom, she has a lot of land and its connected to the main power.
do you consider having solar panels or something like that installed?
Don't know much about solar panels or electricity, but I guess you can have someone like a professional install it, right?
i've only cleaned my room once in the 3 years i've lived in this flat. my flatmates established a cleaning schedule for the common rooms tho, so that's something.
anyway. how do you clean your rooms, robots? whenever i try to i stop after 5 minutes because it's too much random shit piled on other random shit
I just throw shit out before it piles up. LIke twice a day or so i'll just take everything around my desk that belongs in the trash and throw it away.
Then i vacuum my room every 2 weeks or so.
