>be me >sad depressed >listen to rap and sip energy drinks to feel better >get the idiotic idea to install tinder >everybody is a thot >match with a few >everybody is a bitch >except one asian girl >shes actually nice >date in a few days
Now I'm feeling even more anxious and depressed. What the heck do I do
Do what I've done to four of the girls I set up dates with on tinder. Get super anxious and panic, leaving the second you see them where you said you'd meet them, apologize over text and never talk to them again.
Alternatively do what I've done on the many other tinder dates that I've actually gone on and not panicked during. Drink enough to be slightly buzzed before showing up, don't meet them sober because your autistic robot brain WILL fuck you.
Honestly if you're just looking for a one night stand your best bet is to get with a college girl and go to her dorm room.
You should really get a job though. If you want something easy night audit for a Hilton Hotel, it's what I do. $12/hr, sit around on my laptop for half the night. Literally all you have to do is occasionally interact with a guest and look decent in a suit.
In fact it's so easy I'm going back to school full time because I'm not tired at all after my shifts. Perfect job for a NEET looking to escape NEETdom.
Not him, but please tell me more about this job. It seems almost too good to be true desu

No I'm scared of this date. It's 2 days away and just the idea of showing up to meet her is driving me insane. I have no idea how to handle this. Especially when Im a jobless loser for the time being. If we started dating I would eventually get a job and my shit together but that's impossible to do in two days and I dont want to get ahead of myself. I'm afraid the worst will happen and it goes disastrously wrong
Alrighty I'll give you a complete breakdown of the official job title and my responsibilities.
Brand: Hilton Hotels Subsidiary Corporation (guys cutting my checks): Island Hospitality Position: Night Auditor
I started out as first shift front desk, but the black chick who was our previous night auditor was utterly incompetent, so they fired her ass and promoted me to the position. My shifts go from 10pm to 6am every weekday. When I arrive I count the drawer, sign off on some paperwork, and prep coffee for the morning. Afterwards I check on the pool, fitness center, and conference room making sure they're clean, if they aren't I clean them. This take a grand total of maybe half an hour to 45 minutes. Lets round up and say it's all done by 11pm. From then until 3am I literally just help guests if they need anything (it's a business hotel so they rarely do, most are veteran travelers) check in late arrivals, and answer the phone. In the meantime I'm usually on my laptop gaming or doing something else like writing or doing homework.
At 3am I do the daily reports, which basically just involves printing off a bunch of financial reports, doing some light math, making a few emails, and swapping out our on site record keeping SSD, any idiot can learn to do this pretty easily. Then I go do breakfast prep for our cook which just involves setting out bagles, pasteries, yogurt, coffee, etc, etc. All of this takes like two hours. Then I make up any breakfast bags that need to be made and restock the suite shop if it needs to be done.
All told I'm actually "working" for only 3-4 hours out of my 8 hour shift. Literally the perfect job for a NEET to acclimate to working, especially great if you're a student.
Now, there are some requirements. You do need to be able to converse with people and generally be pleasant, if you're an asshole you'll get fired. You also need to be presentable as you'll be wearing a suit and dealing with expensive clients.
That sounds wonderful, and definitely something that would be good for me. However, I'm 19. Would they want someone my age doing that kind of job? I always feel like companies don't really want me

Your best bet in that case is to start out as front desk then and see if you can get promoted to night audit. That being said I'd still directly apply for the position. Although I was hired at age 24 and I have a fair amount of work experience as a waiter and cashier so that helped me. Honestly though if you're clean cut, can avoid tripping over your words, and look professional during the interview you have a fair shot.
Full disclosure though, I live in a city full of dindus with shit work ethic. So being tall, blonde, white, and having a decent work ethic (I'm not from the city) really helped me odds. I also get the impression my manager may have a thing for me, which also helped my odds.
Don't let that discourage you though, like I said if you interview well you can get the position.
That sounds good, thanks man. I really appreciate it. I've been looking for a good night-shift job

>be OP >thread got hijacked by this motherfucker why live
Sup man I did a similar thing the other day. Don't psych yourself out youll be fine. Even if youre going to be an awkward mess go through with it. Itll turn out to be not all that bad and who knows you might get some action. Even if you dont at least you got that date experience and maybe the next time will be better.

No problem, let me give you a warning in advance though.
Night shift can get very depressing, even if you're some basement dwelling NEET. The lack of sun and general inability to have much of a social life due to your work schedule will leave you feeling isolated, even if your super introverted this gets grating. You absolutely NEED to get vitamin D supplements, they help immensely as the lack of any real sunlight, even just seeing the sun through a window WILL effect your mood. Vitamin D supplements help to offset that.
Also when you're a night auditor usually only the part timer covering your weekends or management can actually cover for you. So getting days off is more difficult than other shifts.
All that being said though, I still recommend going for it. Good luck!
That's good advice! My dad has actually worked night-shift all my life (and still is), so I'm probably better suited for it than most people. Apparently he used to wake me up when he came home from like age fetus to five, so unless I move to Japan, I'm pretty much stuck on night-shift for life. Though the issue of not having many days off is rather unfortunate.
