grab ass

Barbell rows should be a high rep exercise imo

What is on his mind Jow Forums?

Yeh agree, even though its a compound or whatever dropping the weight and doing higher reps is what I like

>god I wish that were me

define good
but imo it's not good even by intermediate standards

dios mio

>I hope this picture won't come back to haunt me.

That's really good for a girl!

WHO???
Also requesting more of tape pasties at in the background

A normal 6'+ man should be able to push and pull(row) 100kgs.
Yates rows don't count

kek

not really
you should be doing both

you should update your definition of "normal"

Is benching 90kg for 5 reps good?

Rowing = benching.
Touch&go benching = normal rows
2 second pause benching = Pendlay rows
Bounce reps or partials = sloppy, explosive rows.

The weights should be exactly the same or at least 2-3% apart.

>i love tacos nomnomnomnom

How does one get a girl like this?

Have lots of cocaine.

What kind of barbell row? A pendlay row with strict form? It's above average for an 80kg guy, but elite for a 60kg girl.. if you mean the typical gymrat barbell row with added body language and 45 degrees, its not in any way impressive.

I actually have that,what next?

So I am a guy that does Pendleys and I always wonder if they are easier of harder than a regular rows?

They are about the same. But pendlay rows are superior.

If you're a noob yeah.

Go up to her and say 'hey, I have lots of cocaine and I need someone to do it with'.
Done.

I have a question here for guys who do rows, or more pendlays.
Its dropped slightly now as im doing a slow cut through the summer.
But i can pendlay 90kg for 5X5 at 75kg BW.
However theres this weird bit of almost cheating.
As it comes of the floor i dont move angle but as it comes to the mid point/drawing right into my body i tend to lift a bit.
I barely have to drop the weight to seriously cut the lean.
Which makes me feel its more that im moving to maintain balance. Anyone else find this?

barbell row is bullshit in terms of weight reflecting your strength

Kek, I bench 130 and my max row is 155. the weight range is way more than that

when rowing you literally have to cheat the higher the weight is

Really depends on the type of row
Seal row is decent
For Pendlay its not horrible, but still noobish
For bent over 45° its weak
For Yates row it's awful

Pendlays are definitely tougher
That's why everyone avoids them, even though just doing them twice a week would give them better gains than any amount of bullshit cable rows or lat pull down volume

pendlay rows suck dick because they compromise your back if you try to go heavy and there are much safer alternatives

>pendlay rows suck dick because they compromise your back

What did he mean by this?

or ket

The bar weighs more than you, meaning there needs to be some body language to compensate.

This i was barbell rowing 350-400 pounds for 8-10 reps 3 sets and it totally fucked up my back

He meant he has shit form and a weak back.

Why would you ever expect them to be the same? Simply because they are movements in the same plane? If that's the case, you're retarded.

Yes, it's normal and fine.

You always cheat a bit with BORs. I’m guessing pendlays too. If the cheating isn’t fucking your lower back or anything else then don’t worry.

How do they compromise your back? They won't unless your form is absolute dog shit
You pull it from a dead stop off the ground, the lower back gets deloaded at the bottom

you're more likely to hurt yourself from bent over rows

Could lifting have saved him?

despacito

Yes. Anyone telling you otherwise would only accept an elite tier lift as "good"

dyel?

no

it's obvious you don't row actual weight. Yeah I can pendlay row 225 easy without any issues, if you try to row actual weight you can't unless you use body english, and using body english while your low back is in that position is a recipe for disaster

> if you try to row actual weight you can't

no your "actual" weight is just too much for you that's why you can't

Depends on your form. I can do 100kgs X 8 with a jerky form. But only 70 X 15 with perfect, basically 90° form.

>mfc whore

Lowest tier trash possible.

>ayy lmao
