Legit no better system, it's so fucking simple

I was 11 at the start of year 8 so I think you have it mixed up. I never repeated either.

12th grade is 17-18, that's all I know. I went to school late and left really early(1st and 6th grade respectively). No idea when people are supposed to be in Kindergarten, I was a year late for 1st grade but forget how old I was.

amuricin educayshun as i experienced it. each group was a different building

11th grade [junior year]
12th grade [senior year] [last year/graduation]

Nah, you're weird or you remember it wrong.

American naming system is the same. Except they are called grades instead of years.

But what about the age? I know it works differently there.

The other variation is elementary K-5 junior 6-9 and high 10-12

I was born in March. I was 10 at the start of primary year 7 (September) and 11 by the end (June), as were the few people younger than me. In year 8 this was the same situation, just a year older.

Year 3: 16-17

College: mostly 18

that is if you don't fuck up

I think its different in most districts, based on what they have for buildings and number of students

Never heard of high school being split up like that here in america.
What state do you live in?

>Brazillian school system
kek, i immediately pictured a building made out of bamboo with a bunch of retards and bannanas

It works differently across every county. Every school district (by county) has their own little rules, quirks, and most importantly grade structures. For example, my middle school in oklahoma had a 60 as the lowest possible passing grade, while my middle school in north carolina had a 70. On to grade structures. Typically it's like this:

Elementary school
Kindergarten (year 0)
First grade (year 1)
Second grade (year 2. the number of the grade corresponds exactly to the school year.)
Third grade
Fourth
Fifth

Middle school
Sixth, seventh, eighth

High school
Nineth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth

Like I said, it doesnt work like this for every state or school district. There's also a "junior high" located between middle and high school, with some grades shifted around. Could be wrong though. I found this whole issue perplexing. Sometimes they dont call it elementary school, they call it primary school Sometimes the structure is just the same as in bongland.

That's not nice, there are many highly esteemed experts in the fields of drug trafficking, pickpocketing, cannibalism and even some PhDs in becoming a tranny and getting fucked in the ass to feed your family.

yeah, its a shitshow. wish I had jus gotten homeschooled and never met another kid my age.

THIS Im a spic, and mexico is a shit hole, but brazil. LOL i mean you can imagine cancun,, and other shitty tourist hot spots, but with Brazil i immediately think of a Favela, wit little 5-8 yr old monkeys of all mutt races having "play sex" in the middle of class,, as some adult who is actually a baby sitter not a teachher is just sitting staring at their phone trying to find the latest club/ bar/ party to go to.

>Elementary school: Kindergarden and grades 1 through 5
>Middle school: grades 6 through 8
>High school: grades 9 through 12
