I would honestly recommend to do some higher rep sets if your work sets are all heavy tripples. Of course it's hard but for hypertrophy it can't hurt to try it out. No need to do 20 reps just something like 3x8 with some extra sets at lower weight higher rep maybe.

Lifting heavier weights develops nerve connections which allow you to better use the muscles you already have. Volume spends everything they have and coerces the body into making them bigger.

Ideally, you'd do a bit of both, because if you do volume only, it'll get to a point that you'll either be lifting for three hours or you won't get any results. So you do volume to grow, then you do heavy, now when you go back to volume you do it heavier than you used to, and so on..
