UBI is a shit idea because prices act as a SPONGE to soak up excess dollars, so UBI does nothing but raise the nominal value of the cost of living. It does nothing to offset the real cost of living. I'm not talking about right now. I'm talking about 50-60 years from this point when our industries and major employers could potentially be heavily automated to the point where there simply will not be enough employment opportunities for the massively expanded population.
