It's something to do with a gene, I learned about it briefly in microbiology years ago. I think some Asians, specifically Koreans have a gene so they don't have as much, or any, fat in their sweat. I still think having a distinct, but not offensive, odor would be best. I'd take odorless over rancid taco meat though. I guess it's what they are referring to as "musk". I know I get complimented smelling the best by women when I skipped showering that day, or am wearing a shirt for the second time between washings.
