Why haven't you cut the carbohydrate poison out of your life yet?

I think I will try this as soon as my current bread is gone. But I still don't know exactly what I will eat. 80% meat, isn't that expensive as fuck? I mean you can get bread for 1$/kg, but meat is like 5$ even if it's really cheap.

Meat IS expensive as fuck but it's worth every penny. Buy as much as you can afford, and if you've any change buy some cheap green veggies to go with it. Fatty meat like bacon and beef is the best, chicken's good too but your staple should be fatty meats. It's good fat, your body doesn't just put it on your waistline.

Isn't that literally keto?

Yes, and it's not a meme diet.

I've tried every conceivable way of eating possible and keto's the only one that's worked and kept the weight off. It's so easy too, literally just eat meat until you're full and the weight just falls off you.

>Tfw I can only afford to eat rice and beans
Guess I'm doomed to be fat.

I'm pretty interested in this diet but scared of the higher risk of colon cancer

can't afford it, sadly
would be on a similar diet otherwise

Higher risk of colon cancer vs higher risk of heart disease and diabetes. Your choice.

>higher risk of colon cancer

There's no proof for that at all though, it's like saying a glass of wine a day raises your cancer risk. It's just clickbait rubbish, you can't trust it. Try the diet for a month, you'll see for yourself how good it is.

>buy some cheap green veggies to go with it
what could that be? I don't know much about veggies and how to prepare it.

I heard you get gout from only eating meat. Not true?

>no proof
except cancer societies and the fucking CDC

Ya but I'm alrdy on a low fat high fiber greens oriented diet so it's not a choice between those 2

>eat meat until I feel full
Isn't that very heavy on the stomach? Light meals are best.

And why does this fucking captcha take so long to refresh pictures? Gets worse every day.

OP didn't say to only eat meat, although I feel like 80% still isn't enough vitamins. Maybe some multivitamins will help with that.

price of veggies differs greatly depending on where you live. Just do your groceries and compare prices

Isn't that for salty/fried meats? It's why blacks all get gout all the time.

>except cancer societies and the fucking CDC
Are they infallable god beings incapable of being wrong? No, use your brain.

The food triangle was invented by the American Department of Agriculture, the demonisation of cholesterol was because junk food companies paid for research to prove sugar was good for you but turns out it wasn't so they payed off the researches to shit on cholestorol instead. You can't just blindly trust what other people tell you, no matter how informed and well intentioned they seem. Food is a business and I guarantee you they do everything they can to make sure you don't know what's actually good for your body.

>Isn't that very heavy on the stomach? Light meals are best.
It's a stomach, it's like a washing machine doesn't matter if it's a half load or a full one it still does its job. Obviously don't eat until you're puking, just eat until you look at the plate and think "nah I'm done".

>switch to a 100% veggies, no carb diet
>depression disappears, interest in hobbies returns, full of energy and vitality

How many calories are you generally getting in a day?

idk, because im not a carcharodontosaurus?

how do you deal with the low bioavailability of proteins and fats?

i just buy a bunch of canned green beans or bags of frozen veggies... I love a bag of frozen stir fry veggies.

low carbs lowers T, cut out shitty carbs like bread and shit and eat potatoes and rice instead. as long as you eat less calories than expend you will lose weight, keto is a meme

Not op but doing keto aswell. What would I need to 'deal with'?

You feel more weighed down and lethargic after a heavy meal. Certain things are heavier and take more for the body to process and digest.

I wasn't aware there's vegetarian keto and I'm not convinced it works (for the abovementioned reason)

My vote is for frozen spinach. Goes with damn near anything, tastes amazing, dirt cheap and easy to store when frozen into blocks.

My bad, I didn't see you responded to the 100% veggie guy. Mixed up the posts. It's doable but fiendishly difficult I would have thought. Easier just to be vegan and not bother.

never thought of frosen spinach desu. what do you make it with?

Oh, don't worry about it, I'm just glad I'm not the retard in the equation (not saying you are, just glad I didn't misunderstand).
My guess is you eat a shit ton of olive oil and fried tofu and hope for the best.

Because carbs aren't poison. Italians are the healthiest Europeans, have one of the highest life expectancies, and they eat pasta, bread, and carbs all the time. Meat is a waste of money. You (probably) lost 40 pounds because you couldn't do proper portion control.

I went from a 250lbs depressed fatty who used to eat Hungryman frozen meals, donuts, Lay's Chips, and then wash them down with Monster energy drinks while chugging 5-8 cups of coffee a day. To a lean 155lbs with no depression and eating as healthily as possible. My diet costs $5/day on average and it doesn't involve expensive avocados, meats, or useless supplements or vitamins.

Carbs are good.

Honestly nothing fancy. I just throw whatever I have at hand in a pan. Goes well with my eggs in the morning for some extra texture and fiber. Fish, smoked tofu for some variety. Throw some heavy cream or cheese in there if thats your thing. Spinach just works with everything. Spinach + Feta cheese + fatty meat (lamb if I can afford it) is prob my favourite taste combination. Use butter liberally and season properly. Need to replenish those elecrolytes!

Try noodle soup

Does it really cure depression and anxiety? I am NOT going to a therapist because all they want to do is put you on drugs and destroy your mind. I am willing to try a diet though.

Italy are the thinnest kid at fat camp. They are on average healthier (although not by much anymore) despite the pasta not because of it. Got more to do with a more favourable healthy fat consumption and such.

>all they want to do is put you on drugs and destroy your mind.
Never had this experience with doctors or therapists. I tried for years to get them to put me on meds but they just told me to meditate and shit. Literally the first SSRI they put me on worked wonders for my depression. I fucking hate the healthcare here. I could've been better sooner and my life wouldn't be fucked up right now.

does this actually work? no memes? I'm trying to get Jow Forums for College

Keto is a meme and fags like you who claim that it cures everything is why people hate you, you shill more than nofap cucks

Attached: 1511710212961.png (1306x1571, 223K)

they are healthy because of salads, wine and cured meats, and despite the pasta. They dont overeat so their pasta consumption isnt a big deal, when the rest of the diet is good.

This.
Meds don't work for everyone or in the same way. Figure out what works, give it some time and just don't be naive about. Your doctor isn't trying to mess with you, they might just not have the answer you need.

Carbs are energy rich food. Most westerners live sedentary life styles.
Only anecdotal for now.

You still need willpower and commitment. It can help focus your mind on what you actually need. It reduces craving because you stop fucking with your insulin levels. It's not a magic bullet but it can work if you are smart about it.

You'll only lose weight cutting carbs by also cutting down your calories if you cut carbs but continue to be a fatass and overeat it won't do anything for you and in fact it'll probably make you feel worse, the better thing to do is learn basic nutrition look into macro/micro nutrients, set a limit for yourself, look into meal plans and then slowly begin to work out not throwing yourself straight into it but instead do something like couch to 5k or one of the other slow work up programs (there's a ton of work up programs for push ups/pull up/sit ups out there as well)

Main reason I don't want to do this is meat is fucking expensive.

bread's better

i'd fucking kms without bread hahahha what would be the fucking point of life hahaha

>falling for the ramen meme
