Because it's all they got, when you're void of such things looking at it from another perspective makes you really ponder why the obsession, but to be truthful if you were capable of love which you most likely are may it be only having love for your parents, siblings etc it becomes really hard to understand love outside of your comfort zone that's why you find it strange and weird
