So here's our 1/2/3/4 lifter who just got to 1 rep max in each of the 4 lifts. Notice how they are actually very imbalanced with a disproportionately weak OHP and a disproportionately strong dead lift.

According to Symmetric Strength guidelines, though the 1/2/3/4 are nice round numbers, and an admirable goal for novice-intermediate lifters, it should not be used as a guideline for setting up a training program based on strength.

Lol Ive just been fucking around, tattoos get Jow Forums so worked up. I have 5 tattoos, they're all symbols to me, and they're all where nobody can see. So tell me how much I care about standing out.

So really to revise the goal for your average 190 lb male, what we can do is select a lift in the 1/2/3/4 to base the others.

For the intermediate standard you're close to a 2 plate bench and the OHP is right on the money:

135 lb OHP/ 210 lb Bench / 280 lb Squat / 320 Deadlift

Then for proficient you're closer to the 4 plate deadlift:

170 lb OHP/ 260 lb Bench / 350 lb Squat / 400 lb Deadlift

Keep in mind that if you are heavier (as am I at 220 lb), your standards must change correspondingly.

Why do people assume if you have big legs and ass then you are automatically fat everywhere else.
