How long should I be working out at the gym? I’m a newbie. I’m also pretty fat at 5’8 210 lbs. So far I’ve been going for about 30 minutes. Should I be doing more? Am I going to make it bros?

You're there as long as it takes to complete the prescribed workout. You should be measuring progress in pounds, not minutes.

Hey user,

Try for 45 min. It's about 15 min to warm your body up for exercise. Then hit it. 45 min to an hour is good.

This. So long as you complete your routine, it doesn't matter

That said, don't be a bitch and do reps badly/quickly. Full range of motion.

>Am I going to make it?

We're all going to make it user

The first few times I went I was there for under half an hour. I'd only do 1 or 2 of the sets that I was supposed to, wouldn't warm up for as long, wouldn't really take breaks (because I'd go from 0 to fatigue instantly then need probably tens of minutes to recover). I wondered how anybody could spent an entire hour there since I was worn down to nothing so quickly.

After 2-3 times I started to feel muscle fatigue, could do all the sets I wanted, got value out of 2-3 minute rests, started warming up, etc. At that point once you're completing your workout you can start tracking progress.

As your weights increase you'll see more value in warming up, you'll need to add warmup sets to your lifts (though even as a beginner it's always best to do one set with just the bar, to rehearse form), and your rests will need to get longer. You'll also have more endurance, so you'll be able to understand how it is that people spend multiple hours at a gym.

Get your shit done, time spent in the gym doesn't matter. Just keep going at it

Where can I sign up for one of those?

I used to spend under an hour and about 30 min wad all i had motivation or energy for at first. Since i started going upwards of an hour, usualy hour and a half to two hours, ive been able to do way more complete workouts and really wreck myself good. 60 mins is a meme and is the recommended time even for seniors. If ur a young athleticish man a 2hr workout will benefit ur body. More volume and isolations

5-10 minutes of light cardio to warm up

30-45 minutes to do your sets

Nigga how? I'm the same height and no matter how much I eat can't break 170

eat peanut butter and drink milk

I'm the same size as OP, and I've been struggling to drop below 200. I've been lifting for ~6 months and cutting for 2.

1-2 hours. 1 hour minimum.

No fucking way, you're doing it wrong

I've lost 15lbs in the last 2 months, (started 225), so I shouldn't really have said struggling.

OP I'm 5'7 and I was at 83kg 2 years ago. Now I'm 65kg with abs and Adonis belt. You can do it.
In mid July I'll try to build more muscle, though.

Eat less calories and lift more.

BEGONE THOT

one hour minimum

1h30-2h if you're doing low reps sets with 5 minutes rest time

1.5 hrs

Odds are you're going to give up

So no, y'ain't

I spend between 1-2.5 hours depending on what my primary lift is and where in the mesocycle I am. If I'm overhead pressing for volume, I will be in and out in almost bang on an hour including accessory and stretching. If I'm deadlifting for a heavy triple or single, after all the accessory and stretching I will have spend most of the morning/afternoon/(or)evening in the gym.

If you're just started going don't worry about going too hard.

You should focus on making the habit of going and not dreading it. I think it was Terry crews who said that even just going and chilling on the couch reading a magazine not working out is better than not going.

Build the habit. Plus you have plenty of time to get big later. I know you want results now, but look at exercise as something you do because it feels good. Not because it results in being bigger or weigh less.

Cassi brown on ig

I really don't like how girls pull the sides of their panties up their non existent hips.
It looks stupid especially when the panties arent high waist cut. They're just regular paninis and the bitch pulled the sides up.
Regardless id rape her then bash her head in with a hammer then shit on her tits and fuck one more time that night

1.5-2 hours if you're not a faggot.

warm up
SL 5x5
accessories

>if you're not a faggot
>SL 5x5
heh

The answer is obviously aet more.

Start at 3000 calories, if that doesn't work within 2 weeks up it to 3500, if that doesn't work up it to 4000, if that doesn't work, go to the hospital.
