Boiled chicken thighs with boiled potatoes. Super boring, super simple, super cheap. 1 meal cost about 50 cents. Also potatoes have more vitamins and minerals than bananas per dollar and per calorie, including for potassium.

It's not though. I had completely stalled in weight loss and have lost 13lbs of fat since I started intermittent fasting two months ago. I had tried cutting calories harder but it was making my lifts go down drastically and I was barely losing any fat. I'm about 14% BF and it's still coming off while my lifts are going back up.
Why would simple carbs be better than complex on a cut? I haven't heard about any of this.

Chicken breast stuffed with homemade spinach cream mix, and rice. Chicken rice and veggies is basically every day dinner for me, I like to keep it simple and don't get tired of eating the same thing every day.

Yeah I do IF so this at noon. It's always bacon, egg, avocado. Variate it with diff cheese on the avocado. Or diff eggs (fried/poached) and diff herbs on top eggs. Green onion/parsley/tarragon etc. Maybe some blueberries.
That all, protein shake, and a huge greens mix salad with various chopped veg and some kinda meat are my meals for the day. Usually fast on weekends. One day snakejuice, the other day cukes with salt and coconut water.

Yeah with IF. Lost 88lbs since March. I like Dr.Berg he ketopilled me on some stuff. I'm hella fat though so only at this point only the keto/IF with cardio (swimming and walks). I'm at the point to start carbcycling and lifting though. Don't really miss carbs tho.

Intermittent fasting.
Most people fast like 7 or 8 hours between dinner and breakfast while they sleep. So IF just makes that longer by having a later breakfast. There's different routines. Most common is 16 hours fasting with an 8 hour eating window. Like I'll eat my meals from noon till 8pm. Or there's 20 hours fasting with a 4hr eating window. That's also called The Warrior diet. I've only done it occasionally but the 16:8 works for me.

Pans from the oven are slightly harder to cook than pots on the stove, because as water evaporates dry food matter cooks hard onto the container. I don't mind the blandness of boiled chicken, and I like the ease of washing a wet pot.
Meal prepping for the week but also having:
1/2 cup Bulgogi, 1/2 cup white rice, Oi Saengchae (cucumbers, carrots, green onion, vinegar, sesame oil), kimchi.
