Fuck off. Even if the average person used to get married at 14, it was usually arranged and society was set up to keep these marriages together at all costs. Now if you lose your virginity that young, there's maybe a 1% chance you'll even talk to that person 5 years later. No one still talks to the slut they fucked when they were in middle school. Not saying casual sex is necessarily bad, but it's terrible if you're not emotionally mature enough to separate sex and love, and no 14 year old child is mature enough to do that.

I've always thought of it as an emotional maturity thing. Some people are ready to go at 14-15 and can lead happy and fufilling lives afterwards. Most are not though.

I can get with that too. Big thing is though, even kids at 14-15 who act very much mature for their age still may not be able to handle the separation between love and sex. I'd put chances at 1 out of every 12 kids, maybe a few more, but generally I believe the actual capacity is a complete rarity. We might differ on that one though.
