And heavier curls it turns out
You didn't hit depth. MANY people do this "Oh the anterior surface of my hip is clearly above the bulge of my vastus medialis, let alone my actual knee, I'll just film it from the front and claim it's the angle" "depth." As a result, it's lonely being at the bottom of a squat.
plz be in kg
Nobody cares about depth.
bench press is the best gauge of RAW PHYSICAL STRENGTH. you only downplay this because you're a pudgy, weak little shit of a manlet with an equally embarrassing bench press.
nobody gives a shit that you can bounce your morbidly obese gut off of your legs for your little bullshit wide stance "squat". nobody cares about your 5 inch ROM sumo "deadlift".
bench. press. is. king.
>Max squat 315
How many people would laugh at me if I went to an amateur power lifting meet
Definitely all the 130lb women who outlift you. Possibly everyone else.
if anything, you'd get a bunch of people talking about how impressive that was for a 110 pound high school girl
This, squatfags and dead body lifting practice nerds please kys promptly
Fugg it, not going anymore
There he is. There he goes again. Look, everyone! He posted it once again! Isn't he just the funniest guy around?! Oh my God.
I can almost see your pathetic overweight frame glowing in the dark, lit by your computer screen which is the only source of light in your room, giggling like a like girl as you once again type your little bench press thread up and fill in the captcha. Or maybe you don't even fill in the captcha. Maybe you're such a disgusting NEET that you actually paid for a Jow Forums pass, so you just choose the picture. Oh, and we all know the picture. The "epic" bench press guy, isn't it? I imagine you little shit laughing so hard as you click it that you drop your Doritos on the floor, but it's ok, your mother will clean it up in the morning. Oh, that's right. Did I fail to mention? You live with your mother. You are a fat fucking fuckup, she's probably so sick of you already. So sick of having to do everything for you all goddamn day, every day, for a grown man who spends all his time on Jow Forums posting about a fucking bench press faggot. Just imagine this. She had you, and then she thought you were gonna be a scientist or an astronaut or something grand, and then you became a NEET. A pathetic bench press NEET. She probably cries herself to sleep everyday thinking about how bad it is and how she wishes she could just disappear. She can't even try to talk with you because all you say is "WHY ARENT YOU A FLAMBOYANT BENCH PRESS FAG YET" You've become a parody of your own self. And that's all you are. A sad little man laughing in the dark by himself as he prepares to indulge in the same old dance that he's done a million times now. And that's all you'll ever be

anime website
Anyone else really enjoy singing and wish they became a singer instead of a pretend powerlifter?
here's a probably dumb idea
what would happen if you take vasodilators? because my reasoning is
>higher blood flow
>more blood (i.e. nutrients and shit) going to individual muscle fibers
>increased recovery rate
??
also it's 2 am and i'm drunk so this is probably dumb but still worth asking about i guess
>T-this is an anime website so it doesn't matter that I have degenerate hobbies

i've been on Jow Forums since 2006 and i've never once watched anime or gotten into any weeb shit
miraculous really
Competing in a sport which uses kg, converts to pounds.
Nobody cares you autistic faggot.
Would anti anxiety meds impact my training? I'm looking into taking them to stop myself being miserable but dontwantto become a zombie
Yeah but being a sadfag could potentially impact your training more.
For me though training is good cause it makes me happy and when I'm not training I continue being sad :)
I'm on SSRIs for depression and I don't feel like a zombie at all. I haven't noticed any negative training impact from the meds, although the dose for anxiety is much higher than what I am taking. 50 mg Zoloft for depression, generally anxiety is closer to 200 mg, but low doses could work too, it depends on the person.
>LIFT MORE
I'm doing sheiko I don't think I am doing more than 11 fucking sets of deadlifts in one day
Ok guys whats a decent program for someone with
2/3.5/4/5. Lifting for 5 years only did push pull legs with a lot bodybuilding stuff but i wanna switch to mainly powerlifting
Thanks
Jesus when did that happen. That's sad.
Been on since November, best decision I ever made. It's nice not wanting to kill myself all the time, and actually feeling like a functional human being.
do texas method for your poverty squat
Its sad. I hope you find the root of your problems and managed to overcome them eventually.
Nothing sadder than turning 30 and still holding onto the bottle to cope.
Depression isn't a natural part of being human, it's a consequence of cruel modern life.
One day you'll have to give up the bottle hun and the easiest way to do so is to never pick it up in the first place.
(My opinion)
There's no way in hell I'm fixing 14+ years of physical and emotional abuse without medication. I tried to taper off and I am just not emotionally stable without meds.
Is lifting 3-4 times a week really optimal for pl? Im used to lifting 6, mostly 7 days a week
Depends on the volume and intensity. I couldn't imagine doing more than 4x a week, and I started lifting with 6-7x. Just need the recovery time.
it's optimal in general
>gets btfo
>Better greentext him
Here’s your (You)
I personally think its better to suffer than to cope. Again, that's just my opinion, but I honestly believe it and its how I choose to face my problems.
Suffer with the rest of us. Don't be some underaged faggot on steroids, don't be some boomer on SSRIs. Don't be that Canadian alcoholic. Don't be that cross dressing Brazilian tranny.
Suffer don't cope imo
Ok, thanks for the answers guys i'll try texas method
Over a decade and a half of unnecessary suffering is enough for me, thanks. Nothing wrong with suffering in a shitty situation, but if you're suffering simply because your brain chemistry is fucked, it's needless and pointless. There is nothing to be learned, nothing to gain, just meaningless pain.
do the 4 day upper/lower one and only do TM for lower body it's really bad for upper body lifts. for upper days either program it yourself or take some other program's upper day. also replace the power cleans with a deadlift variation and make sure you are eating.
Your brain chemistry isn't fucked. not in the slightest. You're self aware and that alone is enough.
What separates people with genuine mental health disorders is their lack of sentience. Like Chris chan for example; they truly are unable to understand the errors in the ways.
The fact you can pick yourself apart and judge yourself is evidence you're far from "faulty wired".
This conversation is gay though and what's really pointless is trying to convince someone to give up something they're already decided on. I don't think its possible.
Plenty of people with fucked brain chemistry can tell they're fucked, it doesn't mean they can fix it through only self reflection/therapy. A personality disorder isn't the same thing as anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.
I'm not really sad and training makes m happy. I just find myself getting anxious about small stuff, being around people, work or sometimes nothing at all.
then just die out like nature intended, you obviously weren't meant to make it this long, please stop wasting valuable resources and let nature take its course towards your own self destruction.
Honestly life isn't worth living when you're drugged up half the time. May as well seek eternal rest from this life you so obviously were never meant to have.
You're mentally wired wrong please accept your fate and die
If you get put on something like a mild sedative then it'll fuck with your training, something like an SSRI won't though, at least ime.
>Drugged up
My consciousness isn't altered, I just stop having depressive and repetitive thoughts. Might as well never take any other medication or vaccine then. Let everyone die like nature intended. Humanity has bypassed natural selection for the most part at this point.
False equivalence. A deadly pathogen isn't a natural part of human life, its an invasive microorganism.
However you being a faggot is just who you are, and you shouldn't seek to be any other way.
Having your body's defenses breached by various bacteria and viruses is a part of life, you can't name a single organism that is disease free.
Still a better life than you faggot
It's a consequence of evolution, however you being a faggot is a consequence of your poor decision making.
Guess I'm not accepting sedatives then
I've considered seeing if test was an issue but then i cant compete if i get trt
So my body reacting the way it did to the trauma it endured isn't a consequence of evolution because...?
Because you're a sentient being and can overcome natural instinct.
Depends, in my case the sedatives are only for the really really bad times. Have almost never used them, but training after taking them was not fun
Sheer force of will doesn't change how my brain releases/takes in serotonin
It does. You can change your situation, your dietary habits, you can get more sun, you can go out for a run, you can socialise with new friends, you can leave people who cause you problems, you can get a new job, you can study in a new field, you can go to bed earlier, you can make a greater effort to keep in touch with friends and family, you can can use your phone and computer less, you can dedicate your free time to something productive.
There's much more you can do to change your hormonal releases hahahahaha
But no, keep relying on the bottle as a quick bandaid
Used to lift seriously probably about 2 or 3 years ago, just getting back into it and only 20kg out most of my PRs, best advice for improving further lads?
Do you think I haven't tried a lot of those things? All they do is distract you from thinking, but when you're alone, at night, with nothing and nobody to distract you, it's there. And not only is it there, it's there with a vengance. If you think fixing it is as easy as doing those things, then you've never actually had depression, anxiety, PTSD, what have you. Your suggestions are a worse bandaid than mine is, as once you find what medicstion works for you, it works the whole time.
Go to bed and re-read this tomorrow. You are are delusional.
I'm delusional about something that has never gone away, despite my best efforts, until I got on medication, that I have dealt with since I was 4-5 years old, got it. Good talk buddy.
"Living a healthy lifestyle is just a bandaid"
You're full of delusion.
Mental illness can happen to anyone, regardless of how amazing or sorted their life is, that's why it's an illness, not a reasonable response
Shut up fag and go back to your cave where you belong
Leave all the normal people alone

Some bodybuilders take Cialis or drink red wine because they swear up and down that it gives them a better pump. Dunno how much of that is placebo, though.
>WATCH MORE ANIME
BASED
start using TRAC and start auto regulating.
This ^^^^^^
the red wine may be placebo. I guarantee that the Cialis is not. it's only logical that if it improves bloodflow to your dick via vasodilation, it will probably improve bloodflow to your muscles the same way
Anyone moving 300+ kg isn't going to be laughed at.
. . .You ARE squatting 315 KILOGRAMS, aren't you, user?
You seem to confuse "solving the problem" with "coping."
Don't get me wrong, I can't fucking stand neurotic imbeciles that won't stop complaining about all their mental problems and how hard it is and you don't understand and wah wah wah. Which I why I fully endorse them taking whatever medications help them shut the fuck up and stop talking at me about it.
Does anyone have a good resource for the exercises to do to target your specific sticking point in S/B/D?
Also didn't think it need to be said but people railing against medications for actually diagnosed mental illness with "just go outside dude lmao" are fucking retarded.
>doesnt state what sticking point.
im 99% sure your sticking point is midway up on the squat, off the chest on bench and off the ground for deadlift. these are all signs that u are not strong enough. increase volume not training complexity.
also auto-regulate your training and use RPE.
Tbf drugs for depression are pretty much placebo. Their success rate is so low it's only a few % more than placebo.
Sometimes when doing weighted hyperextensions I feel like a sudden almost electric 'lightning' in the left side of my lower back. No pain though. It also happens in deadlift without belt after high volume squats. Is it a sign of snap city? Yesterday it occured at 175kg block pulls, which is not heavy. (max is around 220 @ 75 kg). Anyone got an idea what is going on?
>Intermediate
>Need to build some mass
Should I just do sets of ten, and increase volume when stalling?
>pic related on the right
Just eat more and try harder.
120/100/160
After 3 fucking years. How to finally get stronger?
uhhh eat more and lift smarter?
>eat more
I would also suggest eat better
Get on a good, sustainable program and stick to it.
I can stick to a programme no problem, actually can't lift without one
I think my form could be better, but o can't seem to get it right no matter what I try, for example sumo hips rising fast and ended up finishing with my back and it's snapped for a week at least.
>160kg dl
>its sumo
lol everytime
Your hips probably rise because your posterior chain is too weak to initiate the movement and youre probably not loading it correctly either
