I'm at a point where I don't know if I should consider this a "solid, successful bulk" (my total is up ~100lbs, I've almost hit 2/3/5/5, and I've added size everywhere), or a fucking disaster – looking back at pics when I was lean with a fairly chiselled face makes me resent this bloated monstrocity that I'm slowly turning in to. Thoughts?

I'm a dyel lanklet former distance runner. 6'4"
last August is was 175lbs and running 12-15 miles per day
Stopped running those distances and only do about 5k/day now but i lift 6 days a week.

Been eating 6000 cals/day for almost 8 months, finally at 220lbs trying to get to 240 before i do a proper cut.

Know your pain. Skinny dyel entire life. Tried bulking a couple times since turning 23 but had two injuries. Just turned 26, and I am up to 200 from 160 in November. We’ll see what happens now till Labor Day.

A brosplit with 5/3/1 for the main lifts and an extra arm day. Was eating 4000 clean cals/day at the beginning (I work a physical job so TDEE is ~3500) but plateaud in the last three weeks, now eating a dirty 4500-5000.

Keep bulking. Another 40 lb and you'll be Bloho mode.

How much have your lifts increased? Looking good in both pics, bruh

Thanks man. Pretty much 15lbs~ across the board since starting the bulk. My lifts are all around 1/2/3/4 for 5 reps give or take a bit more/bit less (bench being my best at 255 x 5 and just hit 4plate deadlift for 5.)

Just started lifting about a month and a half ago. I only have dumbbells but I've put on about 5lbs. I used to run (not far) for a few months before so my legs are finally getting some size. I've had chicken legs my whole life so I want some joocy quads and hammies to compensate. Look great in both pics OP btw. Grats

Been cutting for the better part of a year, got lean enough to see abs under tension. Final PR lifts at the end of GSLP were:

>Squat 250 3x5
>OHP 115 3x5
>Chin Ups 3x5
>Bench Press 160 3x5
>Pendlay Row 140 3x5
>Deadlift 285 1x5

Switching to lyle's generic bulking program. 3100 cal a day, light cardio 2-3 times a week. Planning on 20 minutes after lifting from now on.

Im calling my summer a “bulk” but im eating a shitload of healthy food so my gains are increasing but I still have abs. A nice clean bulk.

Gonna start a keto cut once my current bag of protein runs out so I can be shredded for fall semester and easily conquest some sorority thots
