topkek
Are you trying to go full bloat?
user it takes more than a week to see any...actually you got fatter
Bullshit
I’m 5’9” 150
Have sex pls
you should lose weight, I hope you're not bulking
Brah, you need to be losing weight not bulking.
If you've never lifted before or have been out of it a while (which you're clearly one of the two) you can easily build muscle while losing weight. Your body isn't used to lifting and you're gonna shock the fuck out of it. Do 30 mins of cardio a day, eat less, and lift. Eventually you're gonna hit a point where it is no longer possible to lose weight and build muscle, but you're a long ways off. At least 6-7 months.
may and june are months, not days of the week
Quit taking the piss out of the guy. He’s clearly made some muscle gains but he needs to drop some of the fat for sure.
Is there a reason for working all these muscles everyday? I get you're trying to cash in on noob gains but this is really not sustainable. Beginners only need to build their big 3 strength as fast as possible and rest is essential.
What were your before and after bench, squat, dead?
I'm not trying to bulk, I'm just new to this whole exercise thing. I've been eating a lot of lean protein cause I heard if you don't eat enough while you cut you lose a lot of muscle so I was afraid of that. Should I just give up on lifting? I don't know what the fuck I'm doing
Why would you want to quit? If you have goals to look and live better then see the shit out. Everyone was a noob at some point and don’t let the dorks here stop you if you want to get right.
Stay with it
Read the sticky.
read the fucking sticky, you moron
>Should I just give up on lifting?
Probably, you seem too stupid to grasp a concept as simple as CICO
Believe it or not I've been hovering around 150lbs for 5 years now. I can't seem to lose or gain anything
You're fat, so you can't tell, but as long as you are increasing your lifts then you are building muscle.
So, what were the steps and methods you took in order to lose weight?
I did and I'm I thought I was following it but I guess not. How hard could ut be? Burn more calories than I consume that's what I've been doing. I guess I just need to grow the margins
Oh I've only just started taking exercising seriously up until recently but the times in my life where I would live a healthy lifestyle like lift during track and run during soccer I wouldn't lose weight, just get better muscle definition here and there
What's the deficit you're been on? Are you absolutely certain you count everything that goes through your mouth? How long have you been following your caloric deficit?
It's much easier to eat less than to burn more.
It doesn't matter how much you exercize as long as you still don't count how much calories you eat.
It varies from each day but I've been tracking about a 200 - 300 caloric deficit. Granted, on the weekends it goes to shit cause my family holds big get togethers with food
Then don’t eat. Also checked
If you really cannot figure out why you're not losing weight, I'll pick this extra large spoon.
200-300 calorie deficit is pretty low for weight loss, really low. Considering that 500 calorie deficit should translate to about 0.5kg or 1lbs weight loss per week, you're looking to pretty much no weight loss.
¨
Then you say you eat over what your calorie deficit is (probably rather heavily) over the weekend, reducing like 2/7's of your weight loss and quite possibly nullifying the rest of your 5/7's, since your calorie deficit is laughably tiny.
To spill it out, from your calorie deficit described, you should be losing like 0.5lbs per week IF you don't overeat on weekends, but you overeat on weekends, which makes you not to lose anything.
Not to mention that it's quite possibly that you underestimate how many calories you actually consume each day. I cannot really tell, since it depends, but it's rather possible you're wrong on that metric.
Then humans really understimate how much they eat up to like 500 calories, making it rather possible you actually aren't near your calorie deficit you claim to be.
If you want to bulk up to look decent, just cut until you reach like 12% body fat.
Do that not by going heavily in gym, but actually at least decently counting your calories, including everything you eat, you should probably aim at least like 1000 innitially, because we humans are huge fuckups and then adjusting accordingly.
Once you lose all that fat try to actually bulk by the method you desire.
Okay thanks, I guess I need to start counting my calories more closely and increase the deficit. I already have the myfitnesspal app so that shouldn't be as difficult as it sounds but the question I have is, how can I tell how many calories I'm burning each day? The app doesn't count the calories you burn from lifting, only cardio. and I know the body naturally burns calories everyday too so there's that. Am I just dumb does the fitnesspal app do all of this for you already?
Lol you faggot you got fatter. Get blacked you manlet
Honestly it doesn't really matter that much how many calories you are using each day, the point is that you obviously miscalculated how many calories you need to keep consuming in order to lose weight as shows by you losing no weight, there is pretty much no way around that. Just pick a good estimate (it's generally better to underestimate, since at worst you'll just lose more weight) and then just adjust by how much you keep losing.
If you want to lose more fat, decrease your calorie intake, if you feel like you're miserable and are fine with losing less fat, take more calories.
It's about the progress. My main critique was that from you've known and written, it's obsolutely obvious why you aren't losing any weight, you just needed to decrease how much you eat, it couldn't be more ovbvious.
There are also few pitfalls that you might fall into. Don't overdo it, sometimes we're eager to push as hard as possible, but losing weight will take you months, so make sure you can just follow your weight loss, instead of trying to lose weight as fast as possible.
And losing weight doesn't show consistently on the scale. Don't be discouraged if there are days/weeks, where you seem to be the same weight, just stick to your plan and make sure you're doing things as you want. (search whoosh effect)
toppest of keks
nice progress
Can you finish your lifts every day? If yes, eat less. If no, eat more.
Cutting is really not that hard, user. You'll quickly figure out how many calories you need daily as a minimum based on trial and error. No amount of online calculators or broscience can account for your personal variations.
At least you understand that you need protein. I hope you are putting effort into those lifts because lol at that tiny routine.
Did you just move your arm and retake the photo?? Are you retarded or is this bait?
You're delusional my man. I'm 5'9 150lbs and I have barely visible abs, body fat is sub 15%. I have next to no muscle. You are 20%+, either you haven't weighed yourself recently or are shorter than you think.
If you have an android, check out the PPL app on google app store. It comes with a routine and if you click on the side of the exercise it will even show you an animation of how it's done. So easy even a toddler could follow the program.
Now if you have an iPhone, your fault for picking a shit phone.
def looking like you're on the right track bro
