I do a PPL split with 1 heavy 1 light day,

I won’t lay out full workouts as I’ve built mine specific to me but I’ll give you the main two exercises that I have made the most progress with

Back
Day 1 weighted eccentric pull/chin 40kg 3x1 then 3x3 20kg 3 to 1 tempo followed by deadstop rows 125kg 3x5 (strict)
These can be interchanged depending on stabalizers..followed by whatever you want you choose to aid your main goal
Day 2
Lots of lat pulls, dumbell rows, face pulls..stabalizers..

Chest

Day1 incline/flat bench alternate each workout(depending on goal)
4x4 pauses(3secs) 110kg/125kg
Day 2 Overhead press 85kg 3x5 followed by floor press 55kg 4x6 (alternate...)

Legs

Alternate back/front squat each workout
1x2 up to 80% then singles till (usually only 1 or 2 sets) up to 90-95% for 3x1 (these are all 3 second pauses strict form no belt sleeves) then 3x6 at 65-75% depending on day (still pause but you dont have too)

I’ve gained quite a lot of strength, mind you I train with my cousin + friends Two of which are ex olympians so like bugez says its a mindset

Never tried maxing cause I pretty much do everything paused
