This. Guts is man striving against the things that most people would write off as fated (war, disease, even the supernatural realm). Fatalism is pretty much the worst thing for you in terms of making it and the whole story of Berserk (and I think this will be borne out whenever it finally wraps up) is about not giving in to that.

Fate is like, "bro you should be dead" but Guts literally says "fuck that" so hard it changes causality

I can see why, part 3 is when true physical stands are introduced, the writer had not yet found what they are looking for, as the series goes on he tries new things. it's more obvious with how the stands fist act and how they will never use some powers again after. its often said by the fandom that the writer simply forgets and this is even true for the later series, just trying to think how some of this shit works is crazy and shit gets lost in the train of thought way too often, but I do feel there are way more creativity and a focus on stands with the 4 and onwards chapters.

I wish the Reverie had lasted longer.

Hajime no Ippo is the only fit anime I've seen. As in, Ippo is the only anime that made me go workout. Like literally after I see Ippo weigh in, I had to go back to the gym for a second time that day and do another workout.

Megalobox Makes me want to gym every time i watch.

The stand powers in part 3 are bland, but from part 4 forward, the battles become insane with the highly specific powers and bonkers creative ways the characters use them.
The one with the Radio Tower is absolutely crazy for example.

Honestly supremely upset they made Joseph senile, he was fucking tight.

But the fights in Megalobox are fucking boring.
Hajime no Ippo has MUCH better fights, much more exciting. The author clearly knows a thing or two about real life boxing too, which is more than can be said about Megalobox.
