After dropping intensity 10%, I still try to progress my training max at the normal rate (for me) of 5-10 lbs per lift every 3 weeks.

So if my deadlift is 615, my training max is usually 520 (85%), but on an aggressive cut I might drop my training max to 490 (80%).

bench press is the best gauge of RAW PHYSICAL STRENGTH. you only downplay this because you're a pudgy, weak little shit of a manlet with an equally embarrassing bench press.

You might stall and find that you have to drop your training max further to maintain volume. Im impatient, so i cut quick.

Got it, so basically do a intensity deload and work as usual, deload as many times necessary while maintaining volume.

That seems to be the currently accepted best way to cut according to Israetel and others. Sucks training hard to slowly slide backwards, but think of it as fighting to defend your muscle. Your strength will rebound a little post-cut.
