Anything gym related you want to talk about. Any recent PRs that you want to share.
Here's a mindfuck PR I went through today.
>2 weeks ago I could only lift 215 lbs for 3 reps >1 week ago I failed to lift 225 lbs for 1 >today my goal was to go lift that 225 >play some heavy/hard music to prep myself >sister comes over and tells me she could hear my music from where she was >asks me why I always listen to that stuff >explain that I only do it when i'm going for a PR, and that i'm going for 225 >tell her I think I can do it today >she asks "do you think that you can lift it, or do you know that you can lift it?" >tell her I know I can lift it >she trades headphones with me and motions for me to lay on the bench >she has "One Direction" playing for me >give her a squinted confused look >as she's loading my plates I lay with my eyes closed trying to psych myself up >she interrupts and grabs my hands and tries to position them >can hardly hear her, but clearly read her lips say "just go for it" >rep it 2 times with ease and even feel as if I could go for a 3rd, but rack it out of doubt >take the headphones off and look at her >she laughs and points at the bar as she walks away >she loaded up 235 instead of 225 >so mindfucked that I space out for 10 minutes
I only bench once a week, and that was my leap. It's all about your mentality. Don't even let failure cross your mind like I always did, and just GO for it. (with precaution obviously) 2pl8 club now boooys
>Now go find Mr. Glass you faggot what did he mean by this?
Liam Wood
Your story is very sexual for some reason idk Also this
Camden Sullivan
>Your story is very sexual for some reason idk you guys are fucking hilarious. Is it just because I mentioned my sister? Or because she touched my hands?
Cameron Roberts
Idk just cause she made you close your eyes and touched you and shit I was half expecting you to say she moved your hands onto her tits or something
Brody Turner
I'm fucking dying
Aaron Cooper
You bench with headphones on? The fuck mate. No wonder you a shit.
Alexander Rodriguez
Usually it's just for a PR because I thought the music would make a difference which obviously it doesn't for me. My gym plays music so it was mainly an attempt to block that out. Things like One Direction is what I didn't want to hear playing in the gym. Before learning today that it probably never meant a thing. Does your gym play music?
Hunter Gutierrez
Yes but not being the dyel like you I'm focus on my exercises and it doesn't register after a while.
Nah but seriously don't let yourself fall into your own mind games.
Also after an embarrassing amount of time spent lifting I've finally hit 1/2/3 during this bulking phase I'm doing. Still can't do 4 deads though. Pretty sure my form on it is shit.
Angel Richardson
Who the fuck doesn't listen to music? Do you like listening to 300 people grunting and shitty gym radio music?
Gabriel Edwards
Do not bulk if you're a natty
Wyatt Allen
Yeah mind games is exactly what it is. I have the exact same lifts as you actually as of today. 4pl8 soon
Exactly my thoughts. I would rather listen to an actual garbage disposal while I lift than hear grunts and moans and muffled Backstreet Boys
Jacob Williams
Nah I'm staying on this train, mate. Bulking to 200 and dropping to 170-180.
Who lifts heavy with headphones on? Also home gym master race.
Ryder Morris
Home gyms are nice for progress but i'll never give up the variety of machines and the experiences I get in the gym.
Jeremiah Lopez
The other user is right. As a natty you should stick to lean bulking as your body has a physiologic limit to how much muscle can be synthesized each month. Putting on 30 lbs in under 6 months is a sure way to become fat.
Brody James
Mate like I've said I've been lifting for an embarrassing amount of time and my lifts have stagnated significantly. Also I'm aware that I'm probably at best just getting half a pound of muscle a week if not less.
Also first true bulk and cut cycle.
Juan Howard
Your sister def wants that dick, you know what you must do.
