Hey /fat/ bros. I got a finally got a job and moving out of my parents house. I found a cheap apartment for $250 a month. I'm looking to find a budget for food on a month to month basis that is strictly healthy and will make my lose this fat ass (5'11 220lbs). I'm not earning a lot and was wondering if anyone had some spreadsheets of daily food timetables that are healthy and cheap (relatively). Help a fellow /fat/ out. I'm almost going to make it.

SW: 312 lbs. CW: Pic related, weighed in less than 3 minutes ago.
You're fat, your body is literally covered in fuel to burn before it starves. T That's what it's there for.
Gavin Hughes
I went from 210 down to 170. My co-workers say I'm skinny but I still have this huge as belly. I want to go down to 150 to see if it goes away.
Michael Walker
no starvation mode is a meme
Nathan Scott
But I heard some people say to eat more than 900 calories or else your body goes into starvation mode and starts storing all the food you eat as fat. So it's fine if I only eat 900calories a day then?
Cut harder, work lats, traps, and chest to even out with your childbearing hips.

I mean if you wanna drop weight quickly, then why not just do a single day long water fast each week, while eating about 1500 calories every other day?
Owen Bailey
I don't want to drop weight quickly just slow and good. Is 2lbs a week fast?
Jayden Barnes
That's about the fastest "healthy" range in everything I've read. Too fast can cause issues like excess loose skin, etc. Plus it's a sustainable amount.
I've been chipping away at around 1.5-2lbs a week for the last six months and it's been fine.
Dropping all the weight with a temporary, quick, and radical change doesn't fundamentally change your habits so you'll just gain it back.
Hudson Gomez
>those hips trap mode
Cameron Morgan
Why would I gain it back if I just keep watching how many calories I eat for the rest of my life?
Colton Rodriguez
>Started losing weight April 2 of this year, at 216.7 pounds >Yesterday weighed in at 196.0 pounds >6 feet 2 inches >Only 2 pounds away from human BMI
Might make it if I keep it up. After July is over I'm switching to 5/3/1 for beginners, but honestly what I really want to do is increase my running ability (5K time went from 27:50 to 22:24 in 2 months, would maybe like to sub-20 things again).
Aiden Anderson
If you really want to crash diet, drop it all in a (relatively) short time period, while actually making no effort to fix your diet beyond how *much* you shovel into your face, that's fine. Seems like getting complacent and slipping off the wagon would be really easy, though.
I think it's much better to make lasting changes to your diet and habits, personally. It might take longer (but not much longer, really), but there is way less chance to fail/gain it back if you actually change and eat better. As opposed to just doing a huge cut for a few months until the scale says what you want and eventually slipping back.
Brandon Gonzalez
You should definitely heed 's advice. Unless you're not even obese, 1500 calories a day should easily get you to lose 2lbs a week. Less than 1000 cals a day is way too low, and odds are you'll break down one day and pig out.
and really, if you're a proper /fat/ty, the crash diet will still take a long time to get your weight down. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Ayden Hernandez
even if you get your human BMI you'll still look fat or the same
Dylan Smith
Weighed in at 204 lbs. Was aiming for 202, but it's close enough. Goal is 199 for Sunday now. I don't want to spend too long in the gym, should I just do three different exercises and super set them, upper body one day and lower body the next? My goal is 20 minutes of cardio, some HIIT too, followed by 20 minutes of weightlifting. Doing low carb/keto, 1600 calories a day at 6'0. That's about 2 lbs loss or so, then fasting on Saturday.
Julian Cox
I've been doing this for months now. Only time I went up in weight was when I went to vacation and that's because you can't really cook your own food in a foreign country.
Camden Ward
You got this. What's your diet like?
Liam Moore
From now, certainly, since I'm only about 1.5 weeks out from that BMI level, but I already look definitively less fat from my April 2nd start. I've been making sure that my protein macros are good and that I've been keeping up my weight lifting routine, so my body looks way more toned than it did 3 months ago.
I plan to slow-cut to 160 and then bulk back to about 185 or so right now. At my current rate the end of this year seems like worse-case scenario to achieve the end of my slow cut, so I can probably start bulking at the start of 2019.
Protein shake in the morning, big turkey/ham sandwich with peanuts for lunch, usually some sort of broccoli/chicken/beef meal in the evening (really depends), only drink water outside of protein shake, occasional fruit or dried fruits for snacks very sparingly. I don't count calories but we'll see when that becomes necessary. My intuition has lead me to lose 1.5-2.5 pounds per week for 12 consecutive weeks now without fail. I eat some junk at family gatherings but I always prep for it by reducing the amount I eat beforehand so I can pig out on pizza or cake when those events come without worrying.
Sorry that it's so vague and amateurish, I'm slowly becoming better at fitness/diet shit.
Jack Taylor
Also, it helps that I work a very physical job in a warehouse that doesn't have central air for 8 hr/day.
I use Greyskull LP on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday and do cardio on Mo/We/Fri. My cardio is pretty stringent and I've heard the "cardio killz gainz" meme a lot but it seems to be a myth, as I've done quite hard cardio on lifting off days and my linear progression hasn't stopped. It's probably just the power of noobgainz though.
Who here made it to their goal weight already? Were the last 20 lbs the hardest?
My goal is 170 but I've been stalled at 190ish for the last month. (Starting weight was 285). I think the problem is that during the summer one of my favorite things to do at night is sit on my porch, read, and drink a couple beers. So once the weather turned nice I went from drinking 1-2 beers a week to 5 most weeks.
>down 120lb >I am not a bar person but I go to the bar >wear my tight jeans and boots >guy tells his friend how cute I look as I get a drink (no alcohol) >few guys cruise me >end up talking to a hot guy who offers to take me home. >Guy gives me a blowjob.
It has been a long time since I have felt sexy, but last night I felt fucking sexy as hell. Still need to get down to my goal weight and that experience really pumped me up.
Question for you boys: does sex motivate you to try harder or does it make you more complacent with your current weight?

Lack of stretch marks on your ram makes me think this is not the thread for you.
Landon Torres
It's been like three weeks since I took this pic (an user edited it for me) but I still look pretty similar. I think I'm young enough to have escaped fatty-made relatively unscathed
I don't think I could. I was losing weight very slowly at 1800 about 1lb/week at best and I do lift weights 3 times a week. >I don't know what else to tell you but i'm gonna do 2 weeks of 1500 and see how much I lose.
Noah Richardson
I legit don't even believe that my test or libido will increase when doing nofap. I legit can't go a day without jerking it off to porn and likely have a serious addition. I'm willing to bet that I've became so attached to masturbation because it was a means of easing the intense isolation and loneliness I felt for years. The addiction to the fleeting moment of pleasure is something I become so attached to that it is genuinely difficult for me to stop now.

Oh goddamnit why did this have to make so much sense
This is how protein works, also if you lift, which is excellent so you don't look like a saggy dehydrated blob when you get to a normal person weight, it's normal to lose a bit slower since you are gaining muscle as opposed to losing lean mass. You should aim for 2lbs per week
Been doing really well boxing classes, lifting, at the gym, factory job keeps me on my feet all day. Bought some chocolate milk for PWD, binged it all on my day off the gym. Don't fall for the chocolate milk PWD drink if your a fatty like me, only for skinny people looking to add mass.

Fuck me I'm so sad, mfp decided to change something security related on their servers and now the entire data base is not compatible with my phone. I became aware of this when I got a connection error, deleted the app, installed it again, and couldn't log in anymore. I logged from the website and found out I lost the data from the entire week, seriously I'm so sad, be careful with shit if you get the error too
Oliver Baker
I know there's dirty bulking but what about dirty cutting? Is that I thing? I lost my weight by eating fast food, microwavable meals, cereal, and coke, just at a lower caloric intake. I frankly only come to /fat/ because I kind of like it here
Juan Harris
I mean we are kinda cheating our diet but we still hit our cal goals so no worries.
Brayden Gray
f/19/5'4"/sw:242lb y'all i started keto 3 days and i already lost 4 pounds, i'm fucking hype!!! any advice for a (previous) life-long couch potato to get started on exercise?
Caleb Russell
Yeah same, I lost 30kg eating fried stuff almost every day.
Hudson Lopez
Not him but how did you lose weight with all that? I'm guessing probably eat burger with no fries and a diet coke?
Luis Davis
Sure, that's a thing. It's also arguably more effective to just eat less of whatever you like to eat. If you go from 100 to 0 real quick you might go crazy/snap.

Any tips for actually going to the gym for mental illness fags?
