/NO CAFFEINE GENERAL/ JULY EDITION DAY 3

who quit the jew drink? who here fell for the preworkout meme? who realised that once you are addicted you take a preworkout just to perform like you normally would and you are just fighting withdrawals?

Important: im talking strictly about the caffeine, yes coffee does have some antioxidants but so does decaff.

addicts often come up with meme studies financed by cocacola and jews to defend their junk because they cant quit.

meanwhile the cold hard truth:

>Withdrawal occurs at dosages as low as 100 mg/day. That’s just one typical cup of coffee. One study (Field et al., 2003) even found that abstaining from just 41 mg/day for 30 hours decreased blood flow to some parts of the brain by 19-32%. The most common withdrawal symptoms are headache, fatigue, decreased energy/activeness, decreased alertness, drowsiness, decreased contentedness, depressed mood, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and foggy/not clearheaded-ness. Withdrawal is much, much more common than most people think. Many people just assume legal drugs are perfectly safe and only associate withdrawal with illegal drugs, even though there is practically no relation between the toxicity and addictiveness of drugs and their legal status, but caffeine withdrawal is extremely common. In fact, many studies overestimated the positive effects of caffeine, because they didn’t exclude habitual caffeine consumers. This causes participants to be in withdrawal during the study and the so called positive effects of caffeine are then merely withdrawal reversal. If your training sessions are notably poorer without stimulants, you may very well be in withdrawal. Withdrawal also causes muscle stiffness and weakness.
(Juliano & Griffiths, 2004).

The Misconception: Coffee stimulates you.

The Truth: You become addicted to caffeine quickly, and soon you are drinking coffee to cure withdrawal more than for stimulation.

>The truth is, once you’ve been drinking coffee for a while, the feeling you are getting after a cup isn’t the difference between the normal you and the super you, it’s the difference between the addict before and after a fix.

“The take home is that regular use of caffeine produces no benefit to alertness, energy, or function. Regular caffeine users are simply staving off caffeine withdrawal with every dose – using caffeine just to return them to their baseline. This makes caffeine a net negative for alertness, or neutral at best if use is regular enough to avoid any withdrawal.”

- Neurologist Stephen Novella

i got a head injury
stopped the caffeine
feel better

Fell for the coffe Jew when I was an intern in college. Haven’t drank that shit in 3 years. Caffeine is worse than coke to me personally. I have no problems with a half gram of coke once every three months. Coffe is death.

>I have no problems with a half gram of coke once every three months. Coffe is death.

I don't think you're a reliable person

thought i was the only one. my body legit handles pure cocaine better than coffee. atleast cocaine has a short half life and lets me sleep 4 hours later. caffeine is literal meth tier.

Been caffeine free for a month now best decision I ever made. Was taking half a gram sometimes even a gram daily for years

What if I just fucking like coffee?

drink it and piss off my thread? you can go and smoke crack if you want to user.

>smoke crack
I would, but I don't trust the crackheads who made it

Great for cutting. But since I quit and actually felt hungry I've put on the weight. Back at square one.

You probably never worked out in your life.

Not him, but you think that was an invitation to start a conversation? You were NOT socialized properly as a child.

who dis?

Wow, this is news to me. Any further research and discussion? I'm open to being persuaded, I just need thorough proof.

Wtf I thought a few cups a day was healthy for you. Now it’s not?

>socialized
>Jow Forums

pick one

1-2 a day is good for you typically, but also results in a dependency on caffeine.

I mean, if it’s good for you then why does the dependency matter?

>t. stimjunkie
kys you twink. i can bench 140kgx5 without a single substance. even fasted.

Very important detail:

>"many studies overestimated the positive effects of caffeine, because they didn’t exclude habitual caffeine consumers. This causes participants to be in withdrawal during the study and the so called positive effects of caffeine are then merely withdrawal reversal."

inb4 coca cola kike funded studies.

this book goes into detail how every single study is absolute trash. coffee is the worlds 2nd most traded good right next to oil. just lol if you think there is no bs involved.

was basically addicted to pre workout for a good while, stopped because i was severely dependent on it and switched to yerba mate, i recommned, you feel more grounded and in touch with urself when ur not wired and jittery

It doesn't.
This thread mostly is about people bitching about how people think caffeine keeps you alert, but in reality that effect is lost or at least severely diminished once you consume it regularly.

>a stimulant drug being good
nah. you fell for the meme user. drink decaff for muh antioxidants or eat a pomegranate for 100x more and without disgusting taste.

I just drink coffee for emergencies, like if I don't sleep and I need to get something done. It actually feels like it wakes me up. But at work I usually just drink water.

Becuase they dont want to need anything, puppets being pulled by there own egos, ignore them.

to be clear overconsumption of caffeine is bad for you.

A typical brewed cup of coffee is ~95g of caffeine in it.
exceeding 300mg is probably going to result in negative side effects for most people even if you are used to it.

This guy is an example of someone who was consuming too much caffeine
I also used to drink that much, its not good. I'd get a pounding headache if for some reason I forgot to have coffee that day. I was drinking 8-12 cups a day.
I limit myself to two cups a day years ago, sometimes 1 cup a day. I don't notice an up or a down from caffeine. I just really like coffee.

Also, high anxiety people should consider not consuming any caffeine

Morning coffee helps me take a shit before work

A joke reply to a joke thread from disproven science.

Oh yeah coffee makes me shit every fucking time

Oh man, totally

Starts the fuckin machine

Doctors are just people too, they will also write clickbait for profit.

typically drank 1000mg of caffeine everyday (third year engineering student)
no caffeine for 2 days so far
the first day was horrible, was bedridden for the entire day i even threw up 2 times the first day lol

still have a mild headache but i feel i can persevere

good luck

how exactly is caffeine bad for you?

i drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day and i'm fine. not addicted, i don't need to drink it

like, i can go a week without protein shakes. do i want to though, when there is literally no benefit?

true, thats why i also like to check on the personal anecdotes which are in the millions reporting on this devilish juice instead of reading nestle and cocacola funded studies (which 95% are, google)

>i'm fine. not addicted, i don't need to drink it
user i....

Attached: 1518173086438.png (1000x700, 101K)

There’s actually no benefit to protein shakes, in case you were wondering

There is ZERO benefit in either one of these. One is chink milk powder, the other a stimulant drug.

Anons, but what about green tea? I don't drink coffee, coffee is shit, but I drink green tea.

So can I dip shit
Caffeinated supplements is a tool not a crutch.
Its pushing your body beyond its limits than you usually do.

There is zero benefits to drinking green tea (more Chinese crap)

there is zero benefits to anything, everything is just a chink crap

Protein Shakes are meal replacement not magic.

>Medical/health studies and research are showing that there are some side effects of tea that have a bad effect on your health. These potential tea side effects can range from cancer (esophageal and prostate) to brittle bones.
Are you trying to die user? Quit today.

tea is good for you

but anything coming out of china is questionable (which is most things)

Still gonna drink it tbqh.

>Its pushing your body beyond its limits than you usually do.
which is retarded you fucking idiot. do you even science? its not about what you can do in 1 workout. only longterm progress and workload matters you brainlet.

Attached: 20180703_023550.jpg (1080x530, 187K)

also there is no need to train above RPE 8,5 or aswell. training frequency matters alot for natties and you wont get good frequency if you stim yourself because you will need more rest inbetween. i been through all of this shit. stimulants are simply illusion.

what are the downsides of either? why should i quit caffeine, there is nothing in this thread providing reasons to quit?

protein shakes are a source of protein for developing muscles

>nothing in this thread
nigger are you blind? read the fucking op or simply leave the thread without shitting it full.

Caffeine is an analgesic alkaloid. Fuck your shill science. I will continue to drink coffee.

>samefagger
>brainlet
op here btw

Listen I take c4 about 1 or 2 times a week for my very heavy days mostly for legs.

>abstaining from just 41 mg/day for 30 hours decreased blood flow to some parts of the brain by 19-32%.
is blood flow to the brain a good or bad thing in this case?

>withdrawal symptoms
this doesn't mean drinking it is bad

This is the number one reason why I drink coffee. Nothing better than purging your bowels to start the day off.

Objectively wrong. Science manlet has proven that caffeine benefits have fast diminishing returns. He recommends abstaining one week per month to prevent building immunity. Caffeine is literally the third best lifting supplement.

This place is so fucking retarded.
Caffeine isn't bad for you.
Fucking morons.

Yeah I'm dependent on caffeine. I take a 200mg pill every morning so I can shit and workout quickly. Then I make coffee to sip on at work while I get shit done.
So yeah I'm dependent, but I wouldn't be able to keep this up without coffee. Especially the shit in the morning part. If I don't take it I get annoyed easily and can't shit. Could be worse. I think it's obviously worth it.

The problem with caffeine is that people don't supplement with magnesium. I consume at least 500 mg of caffeine a day but I make sure to pop 800 mg of magnesium before bed since caffeine depletes it. Magnesium is crucial. Go with magnesium glycinate as your body absorbs it well.

>people get addicted to coffee
It just makes me sleepy is there something wrong with me
(Pic because op said Jew drink and I want him to have a chuckle)

Attached: 1527057427515.png (300x250, 25K)

Judging from these pics I really hope you quit the jew porn as well op please delete those pictures off your computer

Attached: 1526219545324.png (300x250, 24K)

The depletion is only true for 'high consumption'

500 might be the beginning of this range, but under this is unlikely to have an effect unless your diet was already lacking magnesium.

Personally I have about 250mg of caffeine a day, but I also eat lots of hemp hearts which have a shit ton of protein and minerals including magnesium in them.

>The depletion is only true for 'high consumption'
You got a source for that claim?

livestrong.com/article/536960-does-coffee-deplete-nutrients/

They restate claims from an MIT study, but as per typical blogging don't include the actual reference. They define their caffeine ranges from mediline.com

TLDR:
>MedlinePlus.com notes that up to 300 milligrams of caffeine per day -- three 8-ounce cups of coffee -- is considered moderate and usually causes no detrimental consequences. Anything more than that, or roughly 10 cups of coffee per day, is considered excessive.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t joking in the original post. Cocaine is short and simple. You take it at night and go to sleep (I don’t drink so I don’t have cocaethylene sides). Caffeine is shit.

Anecdotal evidence is all I can provide but set and setting play a part. Caffeine is administered to sheep who fell for the wage Jew. I take cocaine with friends to discusss philosophy and science.

bro i appreciate this but i work 60 hour weeks i need it nigga

lol

you're not as deep or as a smart as you think you are, but at least you're trying.

Keep going man. You don’t need it. Mind over matter.

Sorry buddy, but Rick del Bugez drinks a pot of coffee a day and he's the strongest motherfucker out there.

>doesn’t have friends
>studied “business” in college
>doesn’t read Ancient Greek philosophy
What a shame.

brainlets dont realize the coffee boost becomes your new normal aka the height of your alertness continuum.

learn to differentiate the stages in your energy systems. not that hard and it removes the coffee negatives.

i have 1, mayyyybe 2 cups in the morning and i love waking up that way. if i feel tired later in the day its usually because the day was crazy busy.

only drug abusers flip sides and become venemently antidrug at whatever they were using; they dont know how to moderate themselves

Attached: 3QS3D46.jpg (1632x1375, 344K)

Yeah I've lowered my coffee consumption gradually but I can't quit it completely because it keeps me regular.

u faggots clearly just cant read in primitive science, just head over biology and chemistry to see that coffee is focking diamond .. for your health, muscles, energy, fat burning, prevention of disease. Faggots

Coffee is literally god tier

Man do girls actually think that's attractive?

what the fuck how is caffiene addiction a real thing? i was taking 700mg a day on average while i was studying for exams and had no problem stopping

I drink coffee every morning before school just not to be tired in class. I don't really like the taste too. When in weekend or in vacation I never drink it.

I have about 2 cuppas/morning and on some level I know I should stop, it's just so damn hard

Attached: 1525369816247.png (300x250, 18K)

OP literally btfo

Patrician Jow Forumsizen tier:
>eating a few blocks of 70%+ dark chocolate in the morning for the slight caffeine boost, antioxidants and other nutrients
Retarded brainlet boomer normie tier:
>gotta have my cuppa coffe in the morning man otherwise i cant function lol extra cream and sugar please

Why should I stop drinking coffee if I love it?

>he doesn't want RoboGoblina big tiddy gf
