Anyone here have experience getting a barbell set shipped to them? I'm planning on ordering a barbell set, only it comes via UPS Freight and I'm curious to know they'll be able to ship it to me since I live in an apartment complex. I don't want to have to pick that thing up myself and I honestly don't even know that I could.
Anyone here have experience getting a barbell set shipped to them? I'm planning on ordering a barbell set...
Are you 14 or just stupid?
what the hell OP
Well I've had issues with shipment here many times before so I thought I'd ask.
And how exactly are you planning to use weights that you can't lift for weightlifting purposes?
That wasn't what I was saying. Assuming I have to pick it up somewhere I don't have the room in my car to take it back home. If they have it packed on one box then yeah, I probably would need some help getting it inside, but my concern is the lack of space in my car, not the weight.
Mine came in one long box
You'll have to take it apart outside and bring it up in pieces you retard.
yea I did
the shit came in a special delivery truck and the guy that drove and moved all the weights was huge and strong and he knew he was humiliating me when moving 300 pounds of weight out of the truck onto my porch because I weighed liek 120 pounds and he was 2/3/4/5 ez
Yeah, it's clear now I worded the thread poorly. My concern is if Freight will even deliver in an apartment complex with a fairly tiny parking lot. I suppose they're equipped/trained to do that but i wouldn't know. If they need me to bring it up that's cool.
CAN you take apart a barbell? I guess I just figured they were all one piece.
why the fuck are you trying to make a home gym while living in an apartment?
Should have bought a truck, faggot
this
My homegym will be outdoors in the woods behind the apartment building
All I can do right now. Making do with what I can.
Oh, it'll all be stolen within 48 hours then.
the things people do because of autism
No. You can take off the ends but it only saves about 2" inches, depending on how they attached the sleeves.
You can probably fit barbells in most cars, providing you drop the rear seat and put it on an angle.
Is this bait? If you have a 8x4 foot space, you have enough room for a home gym.
No im going to put a chain around the barbell and a chain thru each weight and wrap it around a tree and lock it all up
Jesus Christ, don't do that. Have you ever heard of bolt cutters? I mean, your bar will probably rust fast enough that no one may want to steal it, but it's a bad idea all around.
Also, they could just cut the tree down if they wanted to.
Im not using bolts i said im using chains dum fuk
You're just an unfunny teenager trolling at this point. If you do get a chain, go out into the woods and hang yourself with it.
Ass blasted nigger
No, you're just projecting that because I called you out on you being an obnoxious little summerfag.
Also, I had the quads of truth, so everything I said is confirmed.
Ignoring the autist, anyone had experience with UPS Freight shipping to a small apartment conplex before? Obviously moving trucks come in here now and then, but I have no experience with UPS Freight and I dont know if they could squeeze in here.
I'm a UPS driver and have delivered many a barbell in my day? If it's freight it will be delivered off a small pup or liftgate trailer. The ups man will then shove you package over, point at you and call you a fag for asking such a dumb question. If you aren't there then they will take it back and you will be offered to come pick it up yourself.
I assume you guys are equipped to handle getting in and out of a small apartment complex parking lot then?
Dude just call them and schedule the dropoff for a time when you are home. Easy.
I don't work for freight, but yes it has been done 1 million plus times.
