nothing wrong w front squats. dont be mad you're a DYEL with weak quads

>There is no difference between front and back squats in which muscles are being activated.
>Front squatting less weight results in the same muscle activation as back squatting more weight.
>more upright torso means less shear forces on the lower back
fuck u i literally did these for the first time today and my deltoids are absolutely destroyed but not from actually using them from a giant fucking bar with weight literally crushing them. not to mention that but its impossible to keep the bar on your clavicle before it starts sliding down. oh yeah, and the bar also wiggles left and right like fucking mad when you are stepping away from the squat rack.
also MEME CONFIRMED BITCH
do you even reading comprehension?
supports front squats
>a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc., that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.
Squats are by definition a meme
>No difference between front and back squats in which muscles are being activated
>entire purpose of the front squat (LOL DUDE QUADS) meaningless
>b-but dude you can lift more
who cares im not training strength nor am i a powerlifter
>Front squatting less weight results in the same muscle activation as back squatting more weight.
>more upright torso means less shear forces on the lower back
just gonna ignore those huh?
pussy boy do you even OLY
rack position is too much of a pain in the ass for me to care to do these anymore
thinking of getting an SSB though, heard it's like a front squat with a more comfortable/stable bar position
The only reason to do front squats is to practice the recovery of a heavy clean. Back squats do literally everything else a squat could possibly do better than front squats.
>not using a safety squat bar
Same core work, quad work, and back work of a front and back squat combined. Its beautiful
>impossible to keep the bar on your clavicle before it starts sliding down
Improve your flexibility user
work on your abs corelet lmao
Lmao weak form and bad mobility right here folks. Sorry shoulders are too fucking tiny to support the bar position. Eat more lift more faggot.
Pic related its you
Lol Just because you can't do an exercise properly it doesn't mean it's a 'meme' or 'impossible'. It just means you have too tiny a upper body to support a barbell.
this
i switched to front squat after my second lumbago for this exact reason
the big of fronsquat is that is forces good form, the moment the weight isn't properly aligned, you tilt forward, or backwards if you'r really retarded
>not to mention that but its impossible to keep the bar on your clavicle
if you have the upper body made of soup it is.your delts should be developped enough that they act as a bumper behind which the bar sits when your arms are raised. If you can't keep your arms raised for a full set, you're a weak bitch, and should train boxing
>the big of fronsquat is that is forces good form, the moment the weight isn't properly aligned, you tilt forward, or backwards if you'r really retarded
Seems very close to goblet squat
less arms and shoulder work, but feels very similar in the core
thing about goblet squat is that it's rare to have 60kgs dumbells, so unless you're a woman or a beginner, forget about goblet squat, other than as a warm-up eventually
The only reason I do front squats instead of back squats is because front squats improve the deadlift and it's a much more athletic exercise than the back squat. Also the front squat incorporates more muscle activation in the upper back which correlates with my desires to acquire a wider upper back. Front squats are also more preferable for people with shoulder issues. This perception derives from the fact that back squats irritate the shoulder much more than the back squat. Despite these benefits of doing the front squats there's always the relevant question of knee health. The back squat places less stress on the muscles surrounding the knee and therefore it is logical to assert that the back squat embodies less chance of creating knee pain in contrast to its front-orientated counterpart.
Not him but I have this problem, 5'3 and 130lbs. I've used a barbell 3 times for the first time last week. The bar likes to move from side to side a lot and I think it's because I have zero lats and weak abs.
