Even on a light day with 1k calories in exercise I could EASILY eat 3k calories in hearty foods.

I have never been a skinny person though, eating an entire 1lb box of strawberries seems like the only natural end to opening the 1lb box of strawberries. 16oz of chicken? That's a cool snack, what else do you have to munch on for lunch? I have to stop myself from overeating every single fucking day and it is so difficult. I genuinely don't understand how people can eat fewer calories than they need on a consistent basis to become a skelengton.

For me it's a combination of laziness and a mostly sedentary lifestyle.

I never really did anything strenuous out physical before lifting, no sports and I only biked to and from work (which was only a mile away). If I never did anything to make me tired and hungry, I only ate snacks and never actual fucking meals.
Alot of times, I just never packed lunches or anything throughout high school. Was just too lazy, and never really felt hungry and if I was I just ate when I got home.
But when I actually WAS really goddamn hungry, I would eat until I felt like I was about to burst, then shit it all out later in the day whether I liked it or not.

this is exactly the reason I was fat. I love food, I could eat every minute of every single day like you did when you were "hungry". I ballooned up to 280lbs, dropped to 190 with keto and after going off it I went back up to 215. I'm on my way back down, doing it the right way by counting calories and exercising every other day but honestly without even thinking I could easily go back to eating 4k+ calories every single day. When I was ultra obese I never did any physical activity, and mostly just sat at my computer, smoked weed, drank vodka and played video games. I could easily eat a bag of jalapeno cheetos dipped this off brand cheese dip then have dinner and dessert afterwards. I just really don't understand how people manage to eat less than they need, even if they live a sedentary lifestyle.

not that guy but I weighed 121 lbs at 6'. I just never felt hungry at all, I would just eat if someone made me a meal or I went out to eat with friends. weird shit man

I honestly don't know desu, I just couldn't ever really eat a whole lot. Back in the day I could subsist solely off of a bowl of cereal in the morning, a glass of milk at noon, and a bowl of Mac and cheese at night.

I've been getting better of course, in December I weighed only 134, now I'm 150 (weighed myself today), and I haven't really even been making a conscious every effort to gain weight. But that's really slow progress, so I want to see what I can get to with both lifting and actually eating for once in my life.

It was always easier for me to just not eat than to eat, I don't know why. It never took much to make me feel "full".

I guess we're just different people. I literally just made this for dinner and drank half a bottle of vodka because I had been at the gym today. Yes, that 12oz of chicken was weighed on a scale and that's an entire can of refried beans with two caramelized onions.

I'm really looking forward to this plate of chicken and beans and I could easily add on another few hundred calories just in cheese. I envy your ability to not eat just like I assume you envy my ability to consume food.

Basically take one or two scoops of some whey isolate and add ground oats or ground rice. Some use maltodextrine, which is also dirt cheap, but it might not be as healthy. Ezpz
